Multi-client, multi-monitor setup

Does anyone have any sage advice on running a multi-client, multi-monitor (dual, in my case) EVE setup?

My current peeve is that the client position (e.g. which monitor) is not saved per-account, and I have to change the allocated GPU every time I log in on my alt...

Any other tips for plain sailing from people playing this way would be greatly appreciated!

I run three clients on three different screens.

I do this by junctioning my main client install (which I start with the launcher) and then start the others with shortcuts to exefile.exe in the junctioned copies.

The launcher then keeps the install up to date, and when it's ready, I fire up the other ones.

As they're in 'different' locations, they all have different settings, which lets me preserve the fixed window screen allocations.

Woo! CSM XI!

Hi,

I have a similar setup, with a slight difference:
I usually run the same characters on my 2nd and 3rd monitor, depending which is already logged in on which monitor, so I like the character specific settings in the clients for the 2nd and 3rd monitor to be identical (window positions, chat channels and so on). That is, if I join chat channel ABC with character X in the client running on screen 2, I want that setting to be conserved when logging in character X in the client running on screen 3.
So I junction the cache files for the specific characters, so that the actual files for both these client are in the same location. The client-specific settings (GPU association, resolution, etc) remain different for each client.
