Welcome to EVE,

I’ve walked in your shoes a while back, I know this universe is vast and after completing the tutorial, you still have many more questions. Well, after 6 years of running it alone, I think it’s time for Kai-Zen to open its doors to the public. I’m not a PVP expert, nor a Market mogul, I don’t claim to be among the best in this game (nor can I), but I can assure you that I’ve been here for a while. And the knowledge I have acquired I have always shared it freely with newcomers and veterans alike; and now I would like to dedicate my corp to that end.

At Kai-Zen you will find all you need to enjoy EVE at your own pace:
-Access to information tailored to you. (Various information about UI, Gameplay, Advice etc…)
-Hand on training if required. (Yes, I will undock in a frig to show you how it’s done!)
-Access to various Corp Assets (ship replacement, Ammo, Modules, etc…)
-A good atmosphere that doesn’t leave you feeling alone in the vastness of space
(Chat room will be always active enjoyable and hopefully lasting friendship will blossom)
-No pressure to be online all the time. We all have Real Life, and EVE is a pass time.
-A 5% Tax rate that will be invested back on to your EVE development and growth.
- I have great standings towards most Minmatar Security Corps and will be able to get you up to good standings really fast. That also includes, Gallente and Sisters of EVE.
I'm in the UTC - 05:00 Time Zone
I have a full time job, so EVE presence is mostly in the EVEning till late at night (16:00 to 24:00 Eastern Time)
My home systems are between Heimatar, Molden Heath and Metropolis

Having a “Goal” is the most important question an EVE player can ask him/herself. Without one, you will quickly find yourself bored out of your mind and spinning your ship for the better part of the time you spend logged in. Unless you are a trader and earning ISK while you wait, you will not enjoy those ship spinning hours and will think about leaving this beautiful sandbox.
This is why at Kai-Zen we would like to have many goals that we will work towards as a team. And here are a few

ArrowOrganize an elite small gang PVP team
As I mentioned, I am not a PVP expert but I do know the mechanics. We can learn the PVP ropes together by research, trial and error… the beauty of this game is that the age of your character doesn’t matter that much. We can practice among each other and when we are ready head out to look for live targets.
Also it is important to note that “pointless” PVP is not a fun activity in the long term. In EVE ships exploding have a real impact on the whole universe. It’s a chain reaction that goes as far as the minerals that a miner extracts from Asteroid Belts to the subtle or drastic shift in the market graphs. It can make or break Alliances and Empires. It’s important to remember that EVE is not “COD in Space”

ArrowTry our hands at Faction warfare
Not just to collect “Loyalty Points” and make ISK, but to make a difference, be a contributing part of the statistics and maps changes. Something to be proud of. This would also give us valuable skills in Teamwork PVP and improve our tactics as a whole. Not to mention an insight in the “Sovereignty Wars” that makes the EVE news and various other outlets.

QuestionWhy not Jump a Rorqual in a backwater Null Space or Worm Hole space and ninja mine expensive ores while our small PVP gang (now experienced and better equipped) keeps an eye out for hostile with unorthodox tactics.
A crazy idea, but this is what makes this game for me… the ability to think outside the box. And I hope it will for you.

What I offer is modest compared to what some might claim. But I find them to be the essential parts of what EVE is all about, Friendship, Support and Team Work.

What we ask of you is also minimal.
As a New Player:
-Come in with an open mind
-No Question is dumb
-Try everything (the results will surprise you)
-No peer pressure
-Step up and make yourself known (be active in chat when you can joke around, be sarcastic, be comfortable, whatever fits your style)

As an Older Player:
-Share your knowledge and experience
-Same as what we ask for the new guy Blink

What we are not:
-We are not a Pirate Corp, so positive standings are preferable
-We do not grief other players
-We do not Scam
-We do not Role Play
-We are not industrialist (although the corp as a pretty decent industrial backbone)
-We are not a place to park your high sec Alt.
(This has happened in the past and I’m really sorry to have to take drastic measure to that end but if found, said character will be booted out of the corp.)

Thank you for taking the time to read our ad. We hope our description fits your play style and you will join us in our recruitment chat room: “Kai-Zen Recruitment”

QuestionWhen you send your application, you will get a reply asking for an API verification key.
It's a simple background check.
The instructions are in the email. But if you need support, don't hesitate to contact me.

I would also like to stress that theAPI ]verification is no way an attempt at getting your "personal information" or account information. Everything that we get from your API key is limited to IN GAME activity only.
The link provided is a bit dated compared to what you will currently find when you log in your API management console, but the information is still applicable. The difference is purely cosmetic

For your own safety in space, it is important that you join a corporation that adopts some kind of background check on their applicants.
Space is cold and unforgiving...Pirate
Concord will not hear you scream...Twisted

That daily bump!

You won't find an elitist environment at Kai-Zen. EVE is meant to be enjoyed at your own pace with your own style.
No condescending remarks about your fittings, play style or point of views.

all these are a welcome addition to the collective point of view of the group.
