SF Has a lot to be thankful for - so now is the time to join and be thankful!

What do we offer?

Our corporation offers a close-knit and supportive atmosphere, with many active and experienced players. To support our members, we offer ship reimbursements, standings for jump clones, and both corporation and alliance voice chat servers, although alliance is used primarily. We also provide an alt corp for those who have them, for running incursions for isk. We are in a fun, sov holding 0.0 alliance with good FC's and an awesome variety of PvP of all levels.

Our ship replacement and logistics programs are excellent and we do everything we can to keep you fighting!

At the same time, Brick Squad is a consistent top 3 performer on the eve-kill top twenty alliances. We get more kills in a week than some get in a month. Is that the end all-be all? Of course not. But, there are plenty of kills to go around. That, combined with our supportive, close knit atmosphere makes us an excellent choice.

What do we ask?

We have no hard SP minimum. We do ask all toons be at least a month old, and depending on your skills we may suggest you spend time in our starter corp. Motivated learners however may be accepted directly into Star Frontiers. No combat experience is necessary and we are happy to teach newer players the ins and outs of 0.0 warfare. More importantly, new members must have a mature, friendly attitude. Applicants will be required to submit a full API key (subject to change as new api goes live).

Why I Am Thankful For SF -

Through-out the sum 4-ish years of playing this game, I can say nearly all of it has been spent in Star Frontiers. This is by no means a coincidence, and there are so many things I can tell you just WHY I am thankful for this corp and why I remain in it. However, a few come to mind in particular that I wont entirely share. Just one for now ;)

Back in the day we were staying in Geminate with an alliance known as Veni Vidi Vici, or V3. There was some good fights had in those days but one particular situation we were in instills a great deal of pride in my corp. Some heavy-hitting alliances decided it was time to remove us and a few other smaller kids from Geminate and take over, and we had a small pocket of space that was under our sov. This happened only a few days after the changes to sov, involving the sbu's and tcu's. We had taken that space, and were determined to keep it.

Against all odds, we managed to hold against a large red presence for a very long amount of time. A rat backed into a corner will fight, as we did. In my own particular experiences I remember staying up for nearly two days forming fleets and defending our space. Those were good days, and really showed the metal of this corp of ours. I will never forget that, and the friends that I have made and played with for years in this corp.

Why am I thankful for Star Frontiers?

There are many answers for that question, even considering I've only been a part of SF for about two and a half months. First, a story. About four months ago, give or take, I realized I was only logging on to Eve to grind a few missions, and make enough ISK to buy the next PLEX. Sure, I could keep my subscription 'free', but to what end? I wasn't really enjoying myself, I was simply existing within the sandbox that was Eve. It was a waste, I realized, but rather than give up, I decided to try something new.

I started looking for a new corporation to join.

I immediately ignored all mission and other such PvE focused corporations and began searching for a nullsec corporation. I wanted to try something new, and that was the best place to do it, since I was a rookie at best in PvP. After over a month of searching through advertisements with insane SP requirements, PvP experience requirements that would make even a veteran think twice, and other such restrictions that made it seem more like joining the Secret Service than an Eve corporation, I found one. A single corporation with requirements that allowed for an ambitious player who lacked experience, but was willing to learn. That corporation was Star Frontiers. It didn't take long after that before I realized just how lucky I was to have found them.

So, why am I thankful for Star Frontiers? You know... its not because of their logistics and freighter service, services that made shipping stuff out from Jita easy as pie, and moving to a new region completely painless. It isn't because there's always a fleet up. Its not because, thanks to them, I've experienced everything from a large Battlecruiser fleet to a small and sneaky Covert Ops fleet, from being on the losing side, to welping a fleet that had us outnumbered.

No, I'm thankful for SF because, unlike all the others, they were willing to accept someone who wanted nothing more than to learn to pew with the rest. They're a bunch of cool guys who, at the end of the day, are simply fun to hang around with. There's little else I can say: thanks to the guys at Star Frontiers, Eve is fun again.

And that's why I love them.

Thank you, Star Frontiers!

Star Frontiers-A Home away from Home

Hello all,

In the Month or so since I joined the corp I was welcomed with open arm, see that’s the great thing about SF, once your join everyone tries to make you apart of the family. In a sense that’s what SF is a giant family.

I’ve been able to get many kills and really enjoy the game. I’ve gotten kills that would have never happened had I not joined. Case and point right here http://starfrontiers.eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=11566396.

People are always there to help; all you need to do is ask. Some will often bend over backwards to help you out when you’re in a pinch.

Argus is one of the most respectable people I’ve met in this game, I’ve always been under the understanding to trust NO ONE in this game except RL friends, but this corp has changed that, Not that I trust all of you Smile , but there are definitely more people I feel as though I could trust and I know will have my back.

If I had not joined SF I’d probably have quit again by now, instead I’m running fleets nearly every day and night, and loving it!
That’s the other thing if you’re willing to put in the effort and time into learning how to become and FC and taking out roams, you gain a sense of respect amongst SF, our FCs are probably the best I’ve seen. Again all you need to do is Step up and take control.

In closing, so I don’t make this drawn out and boring lol, SF is a great home, and one of the few corps I’ve been in that’d I’d probably stay in till this game finally dies. Big smile

That is why I'm Thankfull for SF.

Respectfully,
MatthewMN

So as I sit here, at the close of a thanksgiving holiday - I can't help but think this all a little odd...

I mean - I have a lot to be thankful for in my real life: a great son, a great wife, an awesome new house, financial security in a time when that is a rarity...

Yet here I am, drawn to this forum - to tell you why I am thankful for Star Frontiers... a corporation in what is ultimately... just a game. But oh, what a game, right?

When I started this corp, four years ago, with some of my real life buddies - that was all it was supposed to be. A group of real life friends playing together. And that was to be that.

Instead, it has turned into a four year adventure, across 10 regions and through 9 alliances with hundreds of pilots passing through our doors - nearly all of whom have meant something to me. Because for me, what makes eve different, and in particular Star Frontiers different - are the relationships it has fostered. And it is those relationships that I am thankful for. It is those relationships that I hope will inspire you to join us....

Whether it's the new folks who just joined, or those who have left us but remember us fondlly - to of course the long time vets who have become my true friends - it's the people that have made this fun for me. Seeing others enjoy this game, helping them succeed - helping to provide a content basis... that is what drives me. I genuinely love being a CEO, and doing the things that a CEO must. I have always chosen occupations that involved relationships with people: teaching, coaching, medicine, etc.. And so perhaps it is no surprise that my life in eve has centered around the same.

I am lucky enough to have had some really fantastic people in this corporation, that had or have the same love for SF that I have. I cannot name them all - it'd be unfair to those I'd forget. But this corporation wouldn't run without them. It is a labor of love - and not just for me - and I like to think you feel that when you join us.

I've always said our former members are ALWAYS welcome back. Because I like to think that we truly are a home - more than just stats and good fights (even though we get plenty of that too). And some have returned - realizing that in the end the only thing that keeps the game fresh and fun are the relationships you form within it.

It is fitting that the latest expansion is called "Crucible", for I always like to refer to the crucible when discussing organizations in eve and what makes them strong. I am a firm believer that until an organization has been put through that crucible - forced to come out either hardened or broken - it's worth is never truly established. Only by being put to the test, do you really learn what you are made of.

Star Frontiers is into its FIFTH year. We've been through a lot. Longevity, adaptability, and durability are important in eve corporations and we've proven that we have all that and more... you know when you join this corp, we aren't going anywhere. I've renewed my commitment to this corp time and again because it is genuinely important to me to continue to provide an enjoyable experience for my members - it is what makes the game fun for me.

Tested, established, succesful and welcoming - not an easy combination to find in an eve corporation - but we strive to deliver all of that and more, and hopefully we've succeeded. And that is something to be thankful for.

To paraphrase my coaching mentor: eve is about relationships. Hopefully you'll join us and get to experience how true that is - that by having excellent relationships with the people you play with - the game can remain fresh and interesting. That when there is something more to log into than an internet spaceship - the game takes on new meaning. Not to say we are warm and fuzzy and planning to hug you more than fleet - we take this game as seriously as the next guy.

But, you will feel welcome, you will feel encouraged, and you will have fun - whether it be in fleet or just simply spinning your ship.

So read on, and give us a try - come to our public chat (Star Frontiers) and say hello. Whether you be new to eve, or a bittervet, we have something to offer... and remember, old SF members are almost always welcome home.

Star Frontiers - Best Frontiers!

SF Is a damn good corp, full of loyal dedicated pilots, that know how to pew on par with the best of them, in all of my eve career I have never flown with people of such caliber, and I highly recommend that anyone interested in PvP should inquire about joining them, you won't be sorry.

Been with Star Frontiers now going on 2 months...I have to say is that the leadership is MORE than willing to help and teach you (if you are willing to listen) how to become a better PvP player.

I have been very lucky to find a group of fellow-like minded players that has been really patient with me and the learning curve that I had to go through and finally everything is starting to click for me.

A prime example was I was in a small alliance roam when I got my 1st true PvP player kill. I was so excited that I think made a few of the alliance mates on the TS3 comms go temporary deaf....lol

Not once, since I have been in the corp when I have lost a ship did any of the leadership gave me a hard time for losing a ship. Except for the one time I ended up bombing myself into the following week. Even then, I get ribbed by my fellow corp-mates when I undock with a bomber, I get asked if I am packing bombs. Lol

The ship replacement program that SF has in place is really cool, just have to follow the instructions that is given for the ship replacement program and in a few hours your paid back.

Lastly, I think that if you are new to PvP and looking and willing to learn, SF is the place to go.

If you want Convo me in game and I would be more than happy to chat with you about the corp!

Cheers!

As you can see by my employment history if you check it, you will notice i have only been in one corp since i have started the awesome journey into EVE over four years ago... Well set back, take a load off and ill tel you why....
I was a hi-sec carebear noob for about a year, missioning and looking at all those corps/alliances that came and went daily, but nothing caught my fancy, nor did the recruitment channel, so i just missioned and dreamed of the riches of EVE knowing some day i would make a change. Well it so happened one day i was in recruitment channel and all these pppl were saying how good they were, ( still not interested ) when this guy gets on there and starts cracking jokes and saying ppl should enjoy there time and make friends... I got to admit some of the jokes were pretty funny, and his comments about their corp and what they were doing and planned to do caught my attn. Then he said he would even escort ppl to there new home if they joined, which seemed cool to me cause i hadnt gone very far from where i was, to scared of the unknown i guess..=p.
So i figured, if he's willing to go that far, well lets see what happens.. so i convo'd him and said, hey im kinda interested i think but im 30 odd jumps from you, would you be willing to excort me there if i choose to join/am accepted. Almost instantly i got a yes, of course.. Well i figured wtf, it cant hurt to try, so i applied, when i was accepted i asked him, hey can you come get me and bring me to my new home? And he said, im already half way there.. Awesome i thought! Here we go... True to his word, little later he shows up in local and excorted me to what was to be my one and only home....
After i had gotten settled and starting to know the guys i felt at ease and they were awesome at helping me learn things i didnt know existed and the pvp thing i heard about they were just getting ready to go into head first... The first place we settled after i got there was Blue Sun Trust. Great bunch of ppl but it didnt seem to fit into what we were looking towards, so our ever present CEO ARGUS, showed us the gate to what was to be our destiny in EVE, thats right null-sec lol. WE followed him into the unknown a little skittish, but had we known, we had nothing to worry about, we learned soon enough he was a fearless leader who always looked ahead and made sure he had our best interests in mind while looking over his shoulder to make sure we never got left behind or felt left out... And four years later, he is still the same if not better at keeping our interests and EVE enjoyment close to his heart.
With his courage and guideance we plunged into 0.0 and found many a new home, one of which helped shape us into better pvp pilots, Foundati0n (FDN), then on to a few other homes, learning as we went and making fierce friends as we explored the vastness of the EVE universe..
WE are now settled in with Brick Squad, and having a blast.. I could set here all day and tell how how awesome we are, logistics perfected over the years so that u can alt but things in hisec, contract it and it majically appears in your hanger in an impressive amount of time, or the ship replacement program, or a number of other awesome things, but... the main thing is the people that you get to know, fly with, fight and die with... Thats the most awesome thing about -S-F-... The people have your back, teach you and help you grow, and make sure you have an awesome time doing pvp. Thats what its all about isnt it?
So dont just set there dreaming, take the leap of faith and do something you will never regret and enjoy for a long time to come, join Star Frontiers, Best Frontiers, and make some history of your own!
We'll be waiting!

Star Frontiers...

There are so many things to be thankful for. The ship replacement program. The awesome FC's. The FREE!!! logistics program that will get your stuff to where it needs to be.

But there are other corps and alliances that offer similar things. So why should you join SF? If you've played the game for a little bit or simply followed the null-sec landscape you know that alliances and corporations rise and fall. They shine at one moment and fade at the next. The greatest thing about Star Frontiers is that no matter the landscape, the flavor of the month, or the current big dog in 0.0, there will always be a home, a fleet, and and an ally to have your back. I've watched this corporation go through various landscapes without missing a beat. Always ready to take the next step, always keen of what the future may hold and ALWAYS striving to be badass.

SF is there to put you in the best position to succeed. It will turn you into a lean mean fighting machine.

If you're ready to take that next step or are simply looking for a better place to call home, come join us!

Be bold, be brave, be badass!

Join Star Frontiers!!!
