Need answer really quickly please.

Does shooting a suspect who is in enemy gang, give the LE against me to his gang members?

Also, can frigates speed tank low-sec gate guns?

Thank you

i don't know what le means. but if you shoot a suspect, that doesn't make you a legal target to anyone but the one guy you are shooting at.

frigates cannot tank gate guns. at all.

Limited engagement. And there are a couple that can.

underlined :P and i don't know about any frigates that can reasonably tank gate guns in a real fight?

e: vengeance?

e2: cripes LE means limited engagement. i thought you were reminding me that the guy you're shooting at gets LE :(

Speed tanking does not work on gate guns. They have perfect tracking.

True. But the Vengeance can, for a little while at least, tank gate guns. I've heard, but I haven't seen demonstrated, that an Incursus or a Breacher can too.

Incursus tank, best tank. Of course it'll implode if you hop out after a fight.

Tell me again about how every playstyle you dont engage in "doesn't require any effort" and everyone who does it needs to die in a fire. Be sure to mention about how you tried it once but it was too easy/boring/ethnic-homophobic slur.

Gate guns are something like 350DPS omni damage. No frig is going to tank that for very long, remember these are always good hits, no glancing whatever. Considering how little damage/alpha you get out of a frig, what is the point?

AF on the other hand..... Can tank for long enough that you can do something useful before warping off.

Frigates can not "tank gate guns." They CAN hold down ships for a time, assuming you're not just one guy - just align out and hit warp the instant you start to take damage. Some lighter ships may instapop, but I've been able to do this in a ceptor with little problem.

a well fit vengeance could probably hold something for up to 10 seconds against gate guns - easily long enough to let something else grab point on it and bounce out.

or...does the OP mean, can a frig successfully jump through a gate while being fired upon by the gate guns... "tank"?

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

No, my situation was where i wanted to engage 1 suspect (a frigate) out of a group of frigates, on the gate, without the rest of the frigates being able to assist him by shooting me, because they would be popped by the gate guns.

It worked. Thanks all.
