Hi all,

I'm looking for a corp to help/guide me in mining/manufacturing.

Can anyone recommend one that's willing to accept a newbie that's only able to be online for around 3hrs a day??

Thanks

*evil laugh* time to beat the regulars with NCs guide.

Also. Recruitment in any form possible is forbidden on all but the recruitment forum. So you will have to look/post there for recruitment.

That link has a great guide to help you find the corp.

But the general answer you will get with the basic question you ask will be:

A. EVE University for any general learning.
B. RvB is you want to PvP (though its more a hands on learning community not a teaching community).
C. Brave Newbies Inc if you are interested in rolling against the big alliances out there.

Personal channel: Crazy Dutch Guy

Help channel: Help chat - Reloaded

Public roams channels: RvB Ganked / Redemption Road / Spectre Fleet / Bombers bar / The Content Club

It's been awhile since we've played this game hasn't it? For some reason the "B-R" noobs didn't ask for this much.

To the OP - talk to everyone you meet. Go mining and chat with the other people in the belt. Go to different systems every day until you find interesting people. Check corp descriptions for people that seem industry oriented and see if they have public channels you can join. In my experience, the best way to find a good corp is by finding people you like first. In my case this usually involves shooting, but there are many ways to play eve. Big smile

Talking with people and joining corps public chat is the best way of figuring out if the corp is right for you.

3 hrs a night is plenty of time. Find a casual corp with some long time players. Even though there is a lot of energy in corps with new players (outside of brave newbies); they usually get pretty chewed up with wardecs and it ends up pushing people out of the game (when they could easily avoid the situation).

Join a corp that works for you. If you want to log on and be able to always join a fleet then join a giant corp like E-uni or Brave Newbies... etc. If you want a more personalized experience join a smaller corp.

The recruitment sub forum is a good place to get a feel for the different types of corps. Be wary of 5-20 man corps that claim they do everything, chances are they don't, don't do it frequently, or do a couple of the mentioned activities really poorly.

*Edit: Edited out anything that might look like I'm trying to recruit OP.
