Best level 1 blitzer?

So I'm working on my negative gallente federation standing trying to at least get it back up above zero before I become shoot on sight, and was wondering what ship you guys think can run level 1's the fastest?

Right now I'm using a retribution which has 20km optimal with scorch and can insta pop almost anything in range. 2200 m/s is pretty quick too.

I'm starting to wonder if maybe an ishtar with drone damage, speed, and tracking mods and a flight of light drones wouldn't be better. I can just burn straight for the next gate or objective and not have to worry about going from ship to ship. Maybe some rails to plink at targets with a low transversal.

Or maybe a tengu with RLML? I can't imagine a level 1 that would have enough ships to even worry about the slow reload time.

What have you guys used to quickly grind level 1 missions?

That awkward moment at the Gentlemen's Club when you see your sister on the stage....and you're not sure where to put the money....

I'd probably use a Corax. Light missiles have a very long range, it has a lot of dps, and should be able to annihilate anything before tank really is necessary.

I second the corax suggestion as a very good likely canidate. Honestly I have been lucky enough to never have to bother with level 1s in so long I am not certain, but the sheer range of a missile ship should be excellent for blitzing.

Since you're talking level one missions, anything larger then a dessy will likely get a no-go from many of those missions with ship restrictions.

Beam Coercer or Rail Catalyst. 8 Turrets with nice range.

Warp in. Bzzt/Bang. Blinky blinky mission box. Bye bye.

Corax is nice but missiles take awhile to reach and LMs have slow cycle time which can be annoying cause you have to count volleys and split your launchers to prevent too much overkill. I would Prefer one of the turret destroyers instead for the instablap factor.

Probably a Crusader.
Wil instapop stuff like a Retribution and is faster both on grid and in warp.

I used to fix my caldari standings by running L4s for an amarr agent. I'd imagine an ishtar in minmatar L3s is probably the overall fastest fix for you if you have access to such.

I also don't bother fixing to anything like real zero, I just let diplomacy keep me from shoot on sight, because the diplomacy bonus is fixed so you push further down the diminishing loss curve and then you don't lose as much absolute per negative act, and you can take longer between bouts of fixing the standings.

I used a Zealot or Legion(the key is massive range, quick rof, and instant damage vs frigs), with the warp speed changes probably the retribution is the best already.

I think running distribution missions is way faster, and working for the Sisters of EvE will boost your Gal standing with minimal hit to your Caldari standing. Find an area with lots of L2 agents like Vattoulen, Akkilen Soshin and fit a T1 hauler for speedy deliveries.

Used this method to boost my Caldari standing and could easy push a storyline or two a night.

Otherwise I'd look into running the SoE epic arc as the standing bonus from that is great for the ammount of time you spend.

Get on Comms, or die typing.

Catalyst with rails. Does level 2's as well. Anything else is even more overkill.

Edit: seconding doing the SoE arc as well.

Someone in a SoE epic arc thread had suggested using an Interdictor, so I did it with a Sabre. Gotta say, I loved the fast warping and flat resist profile.

I can't believe I didn't think of a Sabre.... Fast warp and good DPS and range.

Re run the sisters of eve epic arc for a big faction boost once/2 months. Use a cruiser to do this.
Run some levels 4's with someone who can already do them and share the rewards. You will quickly gain standing with that 1 agent and once it is high enough i believe you can run missions solo for that 1 agent as they select your highet standing (agent /corp/faction)
