New Docking problem?

What is with the new docking issue? if I select dock in the context menu, it warps me to station but often out of docking range. It then gives this error.

16:46:44 Notify You cannot navigate that way with the selected object as it is too far away. Try moving in its direction instead.

Then I click "Approach" And it gives me this error

16:47:15 Notify You cannot navigate that way with the selected object as it is too far away. Try moving in its direction instead.

So I have to double click in space to approach the station so I can actually dock now?

That's a bug that I can confirm I'm not experiencing. Submit a bug report.
