Dear pod pilots,

I am flying the Keres for quite some time now and I am working on a written guide for flying a Keres, with different approaches and perspectives.

If you are a experienced Keres pilot, it would be awesome if you could share some of your experiences for the guide.
I will of course mention everybody who takes the time to contributes his experiences/options!

How do you fly your Keres and why?

- tackle only fits
- pure damps fits
- hybrid fits with tackle and damps
- if pure tackle: two long points or point/scram mix? sensor booster?
- do you tank your ship in any way? Shield, Armor
- how do you normally behave in different kind of gangs

And so on ...

Thanks to anyone who takes the time to write something in advance!
The guide will be published in this forum.

Best,

Like a boss.

Seriously, I fly mine as a pseudo-Interceptor with damps and a long point. I try to keep around 30km or so, and speed tank to reduce damage from drones.

Here's my fit:

Keres - Can't Lock This

Damage Control II
Power Diagnostic System II
Nanofiber Internal Structure II

Limited 1MN Microwarpdrive I
Warp Disruptor II
Phased Muon Sensor Disruptor I
Phased Muon Sensor Disruptor I
Medium F-S9 Regolith Shield Induction I

125mm Autocannon II
125mm Autocannon II

Small Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer I
Small Core Defense Field Extender I

Warrior II x2

I wear my goggles at night.

Any spelling/grammatical errors come complimentary with my typing on a phone

If camping a gate without a hyena, i would think a scram would be a must. Otherwise, you probably don't want to be that close.

I fully approve Liam's fitting.

Pro tip: Carry a Mobile Depot, a Warp Scrambler and a 3rd Damp, just refit before the fight if you thing you specifcally need something for it.

For example:
- lot's of ECM or Logis expected: 3rd Damp
- battleships with MJD expected: fit Scram
