Vista - "CCP EXE.file has stopped working" - On Login Screen

Patch downloaded and installed succesfully, however when I tried to actually start the game, it gets about halfway done loading the login screen with the updated EULA, and I can see it.

However once it gets to that point, which is pretty much immediately after the splash screen, it freezes and gives me the "CCP EXE.File has stopped working" popup.

I have run the repair client twice, and tried running as an administrator multiple times. Freezes and dies at the exact same point every time.

Is anyone else expieriencing this issue? Does anyone have a possible fix I can try?

EDIT: Restarting my Computer seems to have fixed it.
