Any ideas for an underutilised POS?

Just wondering if anyone has any tips for a POS I currently run, that is underutilised.

I currently run a Medium POS installed in Hi-sec, I basically just run ME or PE on any Blueprints I'm not currently using. My blueprints aren't researched enough to bother doing copies.

I can't downgrade to a small for a short while until I increase my standings again.

I investigated researching other peoples BPOs, however I don't have enough capital to offer up as collateral.

I am making more than enough from manufacturing to justify keeping it active and the returns I get on improving my BPO collection is making it worth my while.

I just feel like I'm missing out on something?

I currently have about 3 billion invested in my production line and generally keep around 500 million liquid ISK (generally to transfer to my PvP character if I need it)

Anyone have any ideas?

You can still make max run copies for invention since ME/PE don't matter. And either sell copies or use them yourself.

Inventions actually not a bad idea - I didn't even think of that!

Medium POS is actually 2-3 man POS.
If we talk about High-sec POS, it is profitable if you do one or more of the following:
- BPO copy for invention or sale (bomb BPCs go well for pure sale)
- Invention
- T3 manufacturing/reverse engineering

I used medium amarr pos with two medium labs and one character did 2 copy jobs, 6 ME jobs and 2 PE jobs on average while other did 10 invention jobs.
Today I would probably go with one Advanced MobileLaboratory and one Hyasyoda Mobile Laboratory.

SETUP i used

PEACE time, option A:
2xmobile lab, 2xstasis, 2xscram, 2xion jam, 2xphase jam, 2xspatial jam, 2x white jam, 1xKIN hard, 2xTM hard, 2xEM hard, 4xmed pulse lasers, 6xsmall pulse lasers
This is enough for two characters, one doing ME/PE/copy and other doing invention.

PEACE time, option B:
More labs or manufacturing. Replace all hardeners with labs and offline guns if you need power.

WAR time
3xstasis, 3xscram,2xion jam, 3xphase jam, 3xspatial jam, 4xwhite jam, 3xEM hard, 3xTM hard,2xKN hard,3xmed laser, 3xsmall laser

Hope this helps.

I just remembered something!

This guy offers good BPO/BPC related service so you could get in touch with him and that could land you enough work as subcontractor to make good money from your POS. I don't know details but I do use their services and they are fully booked.

Invention. I used to do pretty well producing bombers, t2 drones, and covops.

Invention with the associated assembly arrays will easily fill up your medium POS especially if you use multiple characters (which is better as one can copy and build and the others can build and invent, or whatever mix you want). I run a medium POS now and easily fill my POS to the max.

I once podded myself by blowing a huge fart.

You could always anchor a compression array after the summer expansion.....

Invention is the best way to use extra space. You could also drop some assembly arrays and build your T2 items. They allow you to build faster than in a station.
