So, this is what I bought...

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2577776

and, oh my, the game sure does look pretty with everything turned up.

So my next question is...how do I maximize this for multiple accounts on multiple monitors?

Turn off Crossfire?
Use each graphics card separately?

I know I could stumble my way through all this, but why reinvent the wheel?

Any suggestions and pointers?

Thanks,

Set to fixed window and change the display adapter on each account. Done.

What he said. You don't really need to do anything special. Just either use windowed mode or as the above poster said use Fixed Window at your screen's resolution and change the adapter number if you have multiple screens.

The terminology here is a little confusing but when you are choosing your display adapter in game in 95% of cases this is another way to say that you are choosing what screen to use.

Holy crap that's overpriced.

As for your question the other two answered it fine. Multiboxing eve tends to be harder on the RAM then anything else. Depending on how many clients you run and your resolutions you'll potentially need to turn down the settings some. Eve windows that are overlapped will continue to use resources so some find a fps limiting program to be handy.

You should get a 55-gallon aquarium, fill it with vegetable oil, and drop your machine right into it.
The game will run like greased lightning.

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

What you want to do is take your machine to the roof of your domicile and drop it onto the hood of your car. Do this several times. This will synchronise the gyro with the gimble speeding up not only your machine, but your car as well. To transfer the calibration to multiple monitors, take a Louisville Slugger and gently tap each monitor from behind at least five times. You should be good to go.

Paradise is like where you are right now, only much, much better.

TigerDirect also Recommends : Ultra N-RGY AA Alkaline Batteries - 32 Pack

Autobots, Roll out!

Not a terrible price for a 4.2Ghz CPU beasty.

MOAR RAMS needed though.

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

You only have four cores to play with but with the Haswell servers at work we get a lot of mileage out of dedicating virtual machines to a particular core. You could probably do the same thing with individual EVE clients.

Thanks for your posts, even the smart assed snarky ones.P

I run 4 man fleets with no issues at all. Next we will have to see if we can stretch the limits. From what I've read, 2 accounts per core seems to be a good number.

Thanks again.

Overpriced, inferior, AMD graphics boards that don't even win on the price performance ratio. You'll see how far that 1GB of VRAM gets you when your polygon fill rate can't keep up. I'd strongly recommend getting an aftermarket card. Crossfire configurations tend to be glitchy, unstable, and stutter.

You should buy a single, good, after market card. They make them with multiple monitor outputs too.

Things are only impossible until they are not.

Welcome to GD.What?

They say most of your brain shuts down on the EvE forums. All but the impatient side, and the sarcastic side. No wonder I'm still awake.
