Personally I liked the old rusty Tornado better. It had a kind of subtle ugliness appeal. New one is too chrome-y and pimped for my tastes. But to each his own. Smile

I agree. I miss the old rusty look. Just looking at those ships made me want a tetnus shot.

Was this supposed to be a clever comment?

For it to make sense should we ignore the huge volume of improvements to the game made over the last couple of years (or even in this latest point release)... or should we ignore the fact that the people working on the lighting system are not the people that work on game balance issues or game mechanic design?

I am still zoomed out when i do missions and look only at the overview to see where I am... Like in a MUD game...

Custom ship skins, character creator style "repaint". Bring it!

Well seeing as how the art devs' jobs are to do nothing but make things pretty I don't see how this is of any consequence to game design,
