Hi guys!

I was wondering if there is a way to check what other toons someone have on the same account (apart from a case when you have full API key for this account)?

Just considering starting a trader alt but dunno if I can create it on the same account as my main and train it using PLEXes without risking his arse to be shoot off due to my mains activity in Eve.
I'm not much a fan of dualboxing so don't see much point in maintaining second account for that purpose.

Any suggestiong would be welcome.

As above.

Only way is if you tell people about it or give them an account API.

If your characters interact a lot with each other, a dilligent corp recruiter with your single character API will be able to tell who they are. There's also some other paper trails that exist - for instance, someone who looked dilligently at my contract history could probably ascertain five 'alts' of mine. (They'd be correct about four of them, and they would be wrong about the fifth).

Thanks for advice!
I guess some middleman dummy char should make it harder to trace a true alt. This dummy char would need to be deleted on a regular basis though (probably after every bigger transaction).

Nevertheless it's the same for alts on the same account as well as those on other accounts.

Currently, there is no way to know which toons are tied to your account without the full api information.

With contract and wallet transaction information, someone can identify players you regularly move assets and isk between, but it would be speculation.

I once proposed a "publicly available" option to trace transaction information and ideally follow money trails, but it wasn't terribly popular:

Without the API key and you making it public like on the forums (buying a character as an example) its harder to figure out who is someones alt.

Contracts is one way, but also if your characters are often seen in the same system, or moving stuff around for you, many will make the assumption (and often be correct) that the two chars are related.

However, you can hide it.
Avoid contracts between them, try to avoid keeping them in the same system, dont have both logged on at the same time (or at least not log them off at the same time), dont use it as a neutral scout (that 5 month old NPC corp alt sitting at the gate in a rookie ship is not suspicious at all Lol ).

There is soooo much more that can be done. Here's a pretty good example: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=324169&find=unread

edit: focus on RAW23's posts.

Remember, it's not necessary to make it totally impossible to detect your alts, merely so much effort that it's not worth the effort.

Take wormhole corps for instance. A single 'bad member' can do perhaps five billion ISK in damage. If you operate under the assumption that five billion ISK takes thirty hours of gameplay to earn, and that each new member has a 5% chance to be a 'bad member', then it makes sense to spend an hour checking each new recruit.

It does not make sense to have three directors each spend four hours pouring over different parts of their API.

However, if your alliance is considering taking on a new director, and a spy could steal a trillion ISK and then get your Titan fleet whelped, you might want to pore over every single piece of information available to you, some of which is out of game (i.e. get them to email you out-of-game, then snoop around online to research their RL name).

I would be interested to see what RAW23 could dig up on me.
