1. Magnetic storms - or some equivalent. There are dozens of hazards in (real) space that could wreak havoc on inter-system travel. What would also make things similar to magnetic storms interesting - a player or corp could use one to some tactical advantage to conceal themselves from predators or prey.

2. Things that no one can explain. Why is it that in the known universe every station, every asteroid field, every NPC, is 'known' and categorized? Part of the excitement of (Internet) space travel is seeing things that no one can explain. A little randomness could go a long way.

3. Ships I can 'add' volume or size to as I increase my mastery or train for new modules. If variants could be built and customized that you can actually 'see' instead of just different guns and 'fittings' that no one ever sees...

4. Paperwork. Yes, paperwork. I want to be able to store/share/steal/sell/destroy 'paperwork' (digital docs) IN the game.

5. Why doesn't my ship require 'fuel' or a fuel cell or something? Something that decays, something that runs out, something I can build and sell or steal, etc. What could be a huge driver of potential conflict and commerce is completely absent.

Let us be thankful we have commerce. Buy more. Buy more now. Buy. And be happy.

This is more a F&I thread not GD but meh ....

1. Well they exist in missions, Recon for example. But not in real space.

2. There are of course anomalies and WHs popping up randomly everywhere, not to mention incursions.

3. Well i never look at my ships but yeah I can see some people would like this.

4. Ummh paperwork for what ? PLEX takes the form of paperwork and you can sure steal that if someone is silly enough to try and move it around.

5. Cyno ships do need fuel and so do POS and people fight wars over it. Don't forget all your ancillary reppers etc chew through cap charges and their is nanite repair paste you go through at a huge rate once you start overheating. In fact some ships have almost no cargo space left by the time you load the current consumables (ammo cap charges nanite paste etc) without adding fuel for subcaps.

Well if it's in the known universe and its part of what we know, then it's known.

The introduction of wormholes provided some unknowns for a while, so it is something CCP has done in the past.

We currently have a huge unknown about the future where our only certainty is there's no going back. So assuming the path continues as explained so far, new areas of space may be discoverable in the near'ish future.

To be honest, none of my ships ever last long enough to approach anything near an empty fuel tank, but aside from that our ships aren't fueled in a fossil fuel way.

They are fueled in more of a nuclear submarine way, which can last up to 30 years on a single fuel load (not the same way, that's just an analogy).

Given that capsuleer technology was only introduced 11 years ago, even an original ship never destroyed wouldn't be getting close to needing a new power plant at this point (if it ever does need it at some point).

I wish they would finish what they started, expand on what they finished and stop adding new stuff that never gets anywhere.

Please stop trying to turn EVE into X-Afterbirth. Thankyou.

Wormholes were like that upon release. Players were interested in them, so they examined them. Then they explained them.

That is what happens to the unexplained.

... would love that ships needed "fuel"... and would get endless chuckles watching people run out and crying for "gas" in Local.

Also, the HUD would need a "Fuel Gauge"... with a big, red "E" that blinked like a painful strobe...

Why does a shuttle only carry one person?

How am I ever going to be able to set up a local Taxi Service when none of the ships can carry a passenger?

You really want to step in a taxi where the driver does it only for the thrills of killing his passengers as messy as possible ? Twisted

Honestly, the amount of natural steller materials there are in space, the ships we fly could be fueled off them, hell I would be more surprised if they WEREN'T powered off natural stellar gases and materials present in space, certainly saves time and is a renewable and probably far simpler source of power then inventing some stupid reactor that is guarenteed to run out of fuel at some point.

I wish we could build 1 startgate (ONE ONLY) in wormhole space, linking to a system we of our choice (whoever builds the stargate)

or jump bridge but this would require sov, which would be awseome to have in wh space too

How confusing when you all like to the same location. 2500 entries to Jita am I doing this right?

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships
