PLEX was the worst idea ever

It completely ruined the in game economy. CCP as the gold seller skews and thins the markets since if you want isk you don't have to make it in game but can buy plex and sell for isk; as a result all manufacturing inputs are mere time sinks. It would be better to scrap all the manufacturing inputs and just seed the items. You also then streamline the learning queue. Any resulting problems can be addressed by NPC buy orders.

Drop the present skill system based on time and use the play time rewards system other games use. This old system worked fine in the old EVE but is just a dinosaur now. CCP will still get its $ from botters leveling up characters for sale and real life players can actually level up without just standing around the scratching their ____s.

PVP will then actually make sense as a reward for playtime and you can still buy your way to fame ($ to make CCP happy.)

I'm off for a year or so. I'll travel back for nostalgia but the game as it stands now makes no sense to me and is boring to play.

Not the first time I've seen someone completely fail to grasp the concept of sinks and faucets, and how they apply to PLEX.

Dont trouble your head with things you do not understand.

Just relax and accept that you are wrong about this, and that everything is fine in EVE in this regard.

thats odd,

Last time i checked manu was the source of basically any meta 0 or t2 item, this "time sink" you speak of is the basis of the economy, you can buy 1000 plex but if no-one manu's with the current system you will have your pod and a noobship and rely on rat drops to fit stuff, and without said manu there would be no ships to move into.

I cannot see CCP ever seeding items as 1 of the great things about eve is that its economy is player generated and controlled.

Im more than a little hung over so unless i have completely misunderstood the point of this topic (apart from a **** poor attempt at trolling) you are wrong.

Are you ready for the sad irony part?

If you where really clever, you could liquidate your current assets into ISK, with which you buy PLEX, with which you can keep your accounts training and appreciating in value so that in a year from now they are worth far more. But since you cant get your head around what PLEXs really are, it is no surprise this eminent, advantageous and valid course of action is not among your ooen options.

So... Can I have your stuff please?
