It arrived today Big smile deliverer almost gave it to my neighbor for safe-keeping until I was home Shocked

EVE source book

It was really well sealed and packaged and it felt like opening boxes just to find another box inside Lol

Gonna love reading it in the next few days/weeks! Smile

But the in-game redeemable items are a bit...lacking...
2 +4 implants(intelligence and willpower), which fit into the exact same slot as their non-source counterparts, with no benefit what-so-ever.
1 male and 1 female clothing piece which is the same as the one from the EVE collectors edition but with a slightly different color layout, and I really mean it has almost no difference.

EVE source book in-game, nice collectible to have.

Congrats! I missed out on the limited edition myself, so going for the basic book. Plan to see if I can get the ingame Eden source book item in some way (albeit afraid market is the only way, and super-expensive)

Same here. :( Missed out on the limited edition, bought the basic hardcover instead. Thankfully I snagged a copy of the in-game book for a sweet 25 mil in Jita. I could care less about the implants or clothing.

Missed out on the limited edition as well. It was freakin' sold out before I could get home from work that day and order it Sad

So I decided on the basic hardcover from Things From Another World.

Pre-ordered it and it will be out for delivery tomorrow, then it will be in my hands all weekend, then properly displayed on the coffee table! Big smile

(That is, if the boss lady allows it to be P)

Got mine this morning too, the ship portraits are really nice and i'll enjoy going through the book, really envious of the guys that snagged signed copies, but owner of issue 522/1400 reporting in!

I got exited at first with those implants as when i looked at attributes the icon was a hardwire, which would have been awesome to pair with +5's to gain +9 on Perc/Wil remaps but my heart sank when i paid more attention.
Other than the name, i see no benefit or difference to these compared to standard +4's.

I can only speculate CCP may release a Mem/Int set at some time in the future which "may" give a bonus when used as a set like snakes/crystals.

Which countries are you lot in? mine was shipped to the US and transferred to the USPS and that's where the tracking number ends.. so curious if you are US players to see when I might expect mine.

Fantastic book. Great information regarding the races and the pirate factions. As much as I have enjoyed reading it, I am somewhat disappointed by two things:
- The lack of information regarding the Sleepers.
- The only ship cross section was that of a Gallente destroyer. A selection of ship cross sections from across the different races would have been brilliant.

Other them two mild personal disappointments, really happy with the product. Made even better by the fact I didn't even know I was getting one until it turned up on my doorstep yesterday as a present Big smile
