OP: "wtf, they're actually working on the game and fixing issues or making improvements, this sucks!".

Please do continue complaining about things being fixed. Not like there's a shortage of things to fix.

Patches every day please.

i would prefer less bugs over more fixes.

So I have been having a moan at CCP lately because IMO there are way to many patches being deployed, it seems every time i log on that I have to wait for another patch to be deployed.

What connection do you have? I fail to see how anything much other than dial-up speeds would cause more than a very short disruption due to the mini-patches.

Well then you're at odds with what a lot of the player base asked of CCP Blink

If it's an issue just get home 30 seconds earlier.

What I have been told is that "the deployment format for EVE Online has changed somewhat to more frequent smaller patches over the past year as opposed to one or two patches per month. "

I'm not keen on this frequency of deployment in the last 4 days there have been at least 2 patches deployed, I don't get to play much in the week presently so that number could be more. I am aware my limited midweek game time does exacerbate the situation but I feel the current rate is too much and I'd like CCP to have a re-think and slow down on the deployment of patches a little please.

You missed the memo?

CCP's patching schedule.

Day 1 Patch
Day 2 Patch the patch.
Day 3 patch the patch that you patched yesterday
Day 4 patch the patch to fix the patch that you deployed originally
Day 5 Patch all the prior patches for the worst bugs and determine which bugs you actually fixed
Day 6 Throw out a bug patch that adds more bugs than it fixes...

On the seventh day they rested, then it starts all over again.

THE END.

A patch a day keeps the bugs at bay.

There is a situation in which patches can be an irritation.

For those of us who are not masochists and use the EXE file to start the client, you go to start the game, then get a pop up, then have to close client and reopen the launcher, or go through 3 downloads via the client and end up at the launcher anyway before you can then close all that down again and open the client via the EXE file once more and finally play the game.

That's a little annoying. But where I can relog to another toon straight from the client, there is no such option in the launcher version of it, and hence more mouse clicks to achieve my goal of changing toons. Not to mention I can start 3 clients at once with the EXE, but have to open one at a time, with a delay between each before I can continue when using the launcher.

So yeah, for those of us who like those benefits of using the EXE file version of the client, lots of patches are an inconvenience.
