First time ever being warned by a GM

So i have been playing this game for years and i love it, just wanted to start with that.
In the past, when i go and mission for long periods of time, or pirated in low/0.0 i always end up with an extensive list of loot. I then goto jita with said loot and i put up an auction. Like most people that do auctions, they dont just create the contract and leave it, in hopes that many eyes see it and bid. I like to post the auction, with a brief description about it, and also the link so that people can more easily see it. In the years doing it, i found that posting it 3-5 times a minute is perfect, i get MANY eyes to see it, and i end up getting many bids an hour.

What i dont get is why is it i have been warned twice in the past 2 days, when i have never once been warned about it in the past couple of years? I have changed literally nothing. I was under the impression that the automatic spam filter in local chat is the line at which i am considered spamming. I would like to know if anyone else has suddenly been getting warned?


Any and all input is greatly appreciated.

you got yelled at for that? that doesn't make sense to me, sounds like a perfectly fine way to play the game :/

It is probably connected with people on this forum getting angry about Jita being full and getting locked out on gates.

Yeah i just dont get it, the only thing that changed is that i created a new character on this account, haulymchauls, and have been doing my auctions that way.

Maybe they think i am an RMT or something, i am just completely confused by the situation

Ur posting too often. The Barbie Rule is to post every 4 minutes or after your previous post has scrolled off a top-to-bottom local window.

There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency.

There are ppl on these forums whoare convinced traders should be kicked from Jita so they can get in themselves and buy there million ISK worth of T1 modules at a 100K saving :D

Maybe some of these types have been lodging complaints about people posting in local.
