Shoe size needs to be something you can affect in character creation. It needs to be alterable with characters made already.

Many shoe models look too small when using the tucking option where pants go over shoes. Tucking pants into shoes sometimes looks stupid so I avoid it, especially with the default boot options. Commando pants tucked into lockstep boots is fine, but default shoe and pants combos usually look stupid.

I would like to see either better shoe models or just the ability to alter shoe size. Im always in captains quarters when docked so this is something I have to deal with continuously. It hurts my eyes. Stupid midget shoes....

The foot pedals on an interceptor were originally small, due to design interests limiting size and mass in order to maximize footpounds of thrust effectiveness.

While we are now in goo covered pods, the smaller boot sizes intended to best operate these controls has carried over, like a tradition. (In case it was not obvious, the pilots were either surgically or genetically modified to have smaller feet, the better to fit the small shoes which were wanted for the small pedals in the cramped space...)

Pilots expect small feet, because tradition.
(kind of like how comic book superheroes were expected to have costumes, and unrealistic moral codes)

Normal sized feet, by contrast, would appear like clown shoes to most pilots.

I'm happy with my small feet, as long as I don't have to stand in full gravity. The person who controls me has larger feet, which is good because he has poor balance. He sometimes kicks doorways accidentally. I don't. My feet are sexier.

I also demand I dedicated shoemaking profession and accompanying skill tree. CCP has ignored the critical importance of proper footwear for far too long.

Since the economy of EVE is supposed to be "player driven" I suggest we should have blueprints for cloths and cloths accessories and be able to manufacture them ourselves. The materials can come from PI.
