PI goods after the POCO changes

I notice the PI market spiked with speculation at the time of the change and has now settled.

Oddly though we now have a similar situation to 2012 where the sell price of P4 PI is 10% higher than the P3 mats need to make them. Even if you need P4s for your own production you are better off selling your P3 mats on the market and buying someone elses P4.

Is this just a simple case of an influx of noob industrialists not checking pricing on what they make or is smoething really weird going on I do not understand ?

If I had a kitten for every person that invested effort into unprofitable production in EVE, I could make enough kitten stew to feed the entire world.

I support the New Order and CODE. alliance. www.minerbumping.com

Pretty much, yep.

For some PI chains P3 pays most, for most the sweet spot is at P2.

imagine you have three accounts' worth of PI in a wormhole. if you have all of them producing P2, you are looking at roughly 25 000 to 30 000 m3 of PI to haul into hisec each day. processing it into P4 will save you *insert math here* trips to hisec, at a mere 10% or so loss.

I should buy an Ishtar.
