No, I don't think anyone has gone to nullsec in a shuttle before.

You're the first. Pics would be good.

Seriously though, you wrote lowsec, but you went to nullsec.

Also, congrats. It's obviously something outside your comfort zone and a new experience in EvE, so good on you for that.

If you are still there, you are in goon space. You should ask in local if there's a recruiter handy. They'll even help move your stuff after you pay the application fee. Good luck.

cool story bro

risking that rare and valuable shuttle for no reason at all is very awesome news, why is this not made sticky or on the front page?

there's a good number of people that never summon the courage to leave highsec in any ship

so good work

though it's likely your journey was so easy because noone really cares about a shuttle, and they're hard to catch without a bubble

Good, now fly a 10m T1 frigate into null and start shooting something. Anything.

Good for you brother.

I remember when I went solo the first time into 0.0 space. It was a bit of a thrill not knowing what to expect. I was surprised how few pilots were actually there. I was flying around in a Drake, and only ran into someone's gate camp on the way back home.

lol, I didn't know what the hell I was doing. Looking back on it, I don't think they knew that much either. I jumped through, they tried to kill me and failed as I crawled back to the gate and jumped. I was getting all those, "you sure you wanna do this messages". I jumped out, thought why would I want to run away? I surprised them by jumping back right away and killed a few before they took me down. It was fun.

I would say, do it often. This is a big game. Next time, take a frig. If you want to test it out. Take an interceptor or a SB. That way you can go sight seeing while offering a modicum of safety. Don't be too afraid to die in this game. Just make sure that your clone is up to date for the inevitable.

Actually if it was goon space outside the few busy bits, the renter bluebears run and hide when a neutral pops up in local, they probably never even checked to see what the ship was. Its the bubbles that would have caused him trouble.

I wish the OP much luck, may he have many more perilous journeys ahead of him!

BoBwins Law: As a discussion/war between two large nullsec entities grows longer, the probability of one comparing the other to BoB aproaches near certainty.

You should do that again in an interceptor (when you can fly one) and say hello in local every time you enter an occupied system.

Perhaps ask them for fitting advice and link your cyno-fitted dual-prop tackle Interceptor fit.

Well maybe not the "cyno-fitted dual-prop tackle" version , but a brand new shiney character can be in an interceptor roughly 10 days after they sub their 14 day trial if they focus on racial frigate V and evasive maneuvering V :D

I never quite understood the rush to get to cruisers and above when 7 days to train Frigate V probably opens more interesting options (inties, bombers, assault frigates, Ewar ships) than any other Ship type :D

Considering Lowsec and Nullsec are a vast wasteland, with small pockets of pilots huddling together for warmth, I'd say your odds are good.
