Joining a corporation that is at war, while you are in space with war targets is considered an exploit. You will have to dock up to join in those cases.

Anyways to the point.
They just left their corp to pass the system we were camping to then group up then rejoin their corp, would this be classed as an exploit?

I petitioned this and was told it was not and exploit.

It's alway a good time when you and your corp mate are like oh look only 3 wartargets on stations, time to kill!

Than someone in other corp starts approving apps, and it turns out half the station is now orange and undocking.

Doesn't matter how many years you play people will always invent new forms of figgitory.

Do not assume anything above this line was typed by me. Nerf the Truth, it's inconvenient.

Meaning, once you identify a target exposed, you can just corp hop in a station and try to attack ... if failed ..
No problem, just quit the corp ...

Unlike a war where you and enemy are on equal grounding, now you get to chose when to attack when ever you want.
Or just keep the war up to be a ***** till enemy corp falls apart as you go about your daily business

with that you can run multiple wars and wait for moments of opportunity.

Thx CCP :D

As far as I know it's always been this way! I know people were doing it atleast a year ago when I got caught in one.

It may be an exploit, but it is just as hard to police as wardec evasion mechanisms, which CCP recently declared as not-an-exploit due to lack of resources.

I'm not saying you should use this exploit or that it is safe to do so. Exploits are bad, m'kay? I leave it to you to draw your own conclusions.

Yeah it's an exploit to switch corps in space to surprise somebody and kill him.

That said, there are pretty much no consequences if you do it anyway.

I know, because i've petitioned a guy who does it, but i've been asked to petition
when i see him doing it ... altough he TOLD ME he's doing it (chat history) and
his corphistory clearly indicates he's jumping alot.

So ... nothing to see here, move along.

(yeah that's a rant about people who use exploits and don't get punished)
(no, i wasn't a victim ... then he'd probably be gone for good)
