Holesharing?

Anyone have successes at this?

Anyone interested?

I worked with another corp holding down a C6 doing capital escalations for a while once and times were good for all, way good, until an awoxing effed the party. The whole idea could be risky for the unestablished group but it helps two otherwise smaller corps/alliances profit substantially.

Just a thought I thought id say to see what y'all would say what you see in it...

You would think so yes, but we never actually allianced. Was weird but felt so right.

When we first settled our home hole, we had one Alliance POS, and one separate POS for each corporation. The Alliance POS had a can in which we kept bookmarks. Terribly inconvenient, but worked well enough as long as everyone remembered to update the can.

The three corporations were originally planned as an Industrialist corp, an Escalation/PvP corp, and a nullsec/lowsec-shenanigans corp. Eventually we all went our own ways, and the only one remaining in the C5 was our Escalation/PvP corp. The shenanigans corp is still pulling shenanigans, but moved to a wormhole with better lowsec access. The industrialist corp turned into a PvP corp.

Wormholes are funny that way :)

Even in the wormhole sub-forum. The choice in phrasing for the topic is questionable.

Tell us more of the awoxing incident to garner our interest longer.

Even IM not that interested, was just idle curiosity.

Scanning/shopping for a WH is starting to take its toll.

Indeed, as are several other aspects of my personality.

How good it is depends a lot on the members involved.

Why not just get a C5 for escalations? From experience, if you're sharing holes (we did this once when we were young) and one corp doesn't pull the load, you end up just merging to form one corp.

If thuggin' was a category I'd win a Grammy

Bob in his great holy wisdom defines an alliance as a union of at least two separate entities under the divine covenant of joint hole usage.

Like a wise man once said, the fleet the gets the herps together stays together.

Coordination between bookmarks.. logistical endeavors.. mails.. etc.. just too much effort.. just merge and get it over with.. you are working together anyway if you are in the same hole.

IF. has done it successfully on multiple occasions. Not everyone stuck around for the long haul, but the conflicts were typically not specifically related to sharing a wormhole. It's helpful to have at least a few people in each corp that enjoy/don't mind scanning, and consistently using one of the various WH chain mappers out there remains a vital tool.

The only significant catch is that if they are not in your alliance, then each group will need their own tower, as you cannot share a PHA or SMA with anyone outside the alliance.

Anyone unwilling to scan down an exit themselves doesn't belong in a wormhole, and should be sacrificed to Bob.

Bob is always present, watching you traverse space accessable only though wormholes. He is the constant reminder that there is always someone watching you, waiting for your moment of weakness to appear and claim his toll for collecting the bounty of his realm.

It's not so bad if you both use the same hole at different times.

But if you both feel the need to use a hole at the same time and you find it uncomfortable or unsafe to do so - one of you could just use the hole next door.

I have seen this technique used very successfully many times on the internet.
