Since some time i can set the Shader Quality on sisi only to Medium.
I have an HD3580 and other Users have the same issue.

On my HD5770 i can set it to high but i don't believe that for this feature we need DX11 Hardware.

PS: The HD3850 is DX10.1 Compatible. And OS is Windows 7 x64 with latest DX Packages.

And was then re-implemented again with this patch/expansion.

Not on Sisi and my question is why i can set this only to medium and on the hd5770 to high. the only difference is that the hd5xxx is an DX11 card and the HD3850 is an DX 10.1 card.

You also forget that the 3850 is only shader model 4.1 whereas the 5770 is shader model 5, and by the looks of it there were some issues where the 3850 would only show as a shader model 3 card, so this might explain the issues, not to mention that the 3850 shows as an AGP card so you might need to take in to account other system differences beyond just the graphics card.

I know but i dont think that for the Option "high" is SM5 (DX11) an requirement because with other DX10 cards its work.

My card expose all DX10.1 features if i write an simple DX Application so i don't think my card/driver lie in this case.

Its an PCIe Card but AGP is only an driver thing an not an application problem.

In the thread about the new warp effects, one of the devs mentioned a shader feature that was used to create the wet/tearing look when in warp. "INT1" or something like that. If the card didn't have support for it, Eve automatically removed the High setting for shaders. Googling my card, I found that this was the case. Radeon HD 3650 in my case.
