So we play in a distant future with awesome spaceships right?
We do have super computers, super weapons, ultra-light speed, magnificent titants etc....
...
...
Then we enter in a solar system where there other PPL at war with us and...
instead of having our power super computer telling us how many are, where they approximatly stay, which ships (or sigs at least) they have etc... what we do.......

WE DO SCROLL DOWN THE LOCAL CHAT LOOKING FOR RED FLASING DOTS ?!?!?!?

Explain this to ppl starting playiing now pls Lol

We need a much better "Reds Control panel" in this awesome game! And we need it now!

Right click on the three little lines at thew top left corner of the list and select "open overview settings". If you're asking for local changes, good luck. The debate on local is so hot it's almost taboo and guaranteed to invite all manner of unhappy discussion that never really gets anywhere.

When you enter in a solar system you would need a control panel at least disaplying you in real time: how many enemies are in the system (it's totally sputid that you can find the number of enemies only by scrolling down the local), where approximatly they are, how many tons of ships are mviung around etc...

THis is the barely minimum info you should have in real time in a decent spaceship.

Nope.

When a Plane lands on the airport of London it does not care for Planes flying over paris.

EDIT: And you dont get the info either, thats what Air controll is for. Or Gate Controll in EVE, these dudes provide you with the data of guys in the system aka Local.

I could list hundreds of topics on local and all things local related. There are lots of arguments for and against improving/keeping/ and reducing/removing local chat.

I'm not saying your idea isn't valid, I have actually suggested it in a topic before. I'm just informing you of the massive can of worms that gets opened when someone suggests tinkering with it, since you seem to be new to the F&I forums. Just a friendly warning on the flames this kind of topic attracts.
