So just the fact i have logged on today into EVE, my name goes onto a monument in Iceland today?

Its not if you are logged in or not, you just have to have an active account and the character with the highest sp (if more then one) has its name added to the list.

I beleive you also have to be a paying account, as in not plex, if i read the press release correctly. Anyone know if it's too late (8:30 eve time) to resub an account?

Someone paid ccp for the plex with cash. Plexed accounts should count as paid and active.

Well, i may have taken it incorrectly, but they did say active, (and) paying account, so i assumed it meant you had to pony up the $$$. Still dunno when exactly they plan on taking the snapshot. What?

I by no means want to speak for CCP but commen sense would say that "active account" means just that, "active".

If you can log in and play... thats an active account.

On a side note, I realized that a corpies alt is actually the CEO of a dead friend of ours and he has not gone to the work to get his name on siad statue. Kind of curious when the due date for that is and if a CEO of another corp can make that request.

"Paying" as opposed to trial accounts. They still consider PLEX to be a payment method.

Who put the goat in there?

What does it matter? Unless your account is going to go inactive at some point today you name will be captured along with all the other non trial accounts no matter what time of day they take the snapshot. As has been said, it will include all non trial accounts that are active today, not all players logged in today. If you haven#t played for 9 years, but your account is still subbed, your name will be there.

It matters b/c my buddy just resubbed at 8:30 eve time today, and they weren't clear when the "snapshot" would take place. And on their promo resub deal they said resub before feb 28 to get on the monument.

Well if they indeed did say that and what they said was true, then your friend should have acted faster. if he cared about this.
