Client lags big time, can't connect.

I've patched my client to the latest build and it takes forever to connect to the Tranquillity server. After about 2 minutes, it loads up the character selection screen but fails to get any further. I'm having no speed related problems with my connection as I can browse the internet perfectly.

I've run the EVE repair tool, added the port to my windows firewall exception list and also tried launching EVE in administrator mode. I'm running out of ideas.. What?
