This game is great but is getting a little mature. Other than small upgrades there needs to be "WOW, look what EVE is doing now"

I don't know, maybe bang a new universe with a one way gate that will only accommodate a Frigate to get thru. Maybe even scramble the neural networks so you have to skill up again.

I am sure there are lots of things on the drawing boards now and only a matter of time before implementation.

Yea it would be cool if that neural network scrambling happened to everyone in the game, actually. EvE veterans trying to convince new players to stick around say that the most fun they ever had was being a new person not having to care about their little tiny ships getting destroyed.

So obviously, they want to have all skill points across the galaxy reset. Granted they could make new accounts, but they'll still have the old one and they'll see first hand how inefficient being a fresh character is when everyone else around you is a giant. So they won't actually stick to and play that new character because of the comparison.

But if we wipe skill points across the board right now, resetting everyone. . . . Well then, we have no "giants" to compare ourselves too. We all get to be those little busy frigates blowing each other up having a whale of a time that veterans will tell us we new players should be doing right now, what they did which was the most fun they ever had in game!

So they want to be new again. I think CCP should consider creating a universal event that results in a complete reset of the current eve system. All skillpoints, all sovereignty, all ships, all isk, destroyed.

Clean slate.

Opening the door in the captains quarters, or opening the eve gate would be cool.

If skill points get wiped this game is over for me. waste of years of my time. all sovereignty destroyed would be interesting though.

Why? You can still be effective with low skill points.

You can still have fun with low skill points.

At least that's what you'll tell new players.

Or opening a window, getting sucked out into space, and losing a clone. That would be cool. I bet at least a few people do it more than once and complain in GD to nerf the window. Big smile
