Not sure if this has been covered here yet, but where can i find a module like the 15% increase in armor module for shields, seems armor tanking is better on cap eff, fittings, and with new modules adding % to the base. why would u bother training shields.

higher dps tank apparently, but not stable including cap fittings. Not only do plates give more armor hp than LSE's i dont see how ccp cant make similair modules to balance out.

just my 2cents, thoughts?

Let me quote this before you edit it because you realised how dumb your post is.

To actually reply; no sane person would use that module unless his resists were so severely stacked it wouldn't make any sort of sense to add more while having the free low slots for it to make sense in the first place, which in 99% of the cases is not an issue. Shield has a better omni resists and can fit HP while not losing speed/agility, they're not the same but somehow stating that "shield suck because armor gets a layering module" is dumb as fck.

Sorry OP for trolls like this, they just want to feel superior lol

The reactive armor hardener has plenty of uses even if they cant see them Roll. Search through some of the other topics, a lot of discussion has been done already.

He's not talking about the reactive hardener, he's talking about the Energized Armor Layering Membrane. A module so unused most people don't even know it exists.

I think it is completely OK for an Amarrian with "Amarr" in his name to be unable to understand Shield tanking. You really shouldn't bother with Shield tanking. Move on please.

Have they changed the name? Regenerative Membrane was the old name - and they've been not being used for years Big smile
There was a time though, before capital logistics became popular, when carriers were used for their fighters rather than anything else, when there was a demand for them - but only on capitals...

That old membrane isn't used. It would be better than a third eanm I think? Not sure if it would be better than a RAH unless you want completely passive tank.

Good trip down memory lane of useless modules.
