Making Missiles more viable in pvp

why?? Missiles are already viable for pvp.

Note. EFT ≠ EVE. Reducing missile flight times increases applied missile DPS in all situations.

It's not a buff.

It's a matter of how they apply the dps.

they'll have the same dps, same range, same tank, same blah blah blah.

Just because people don't use the counter measures offered doesn't make them non-viable. Anyone who has ever watched an Alliance Tournament has seen how viable defender missiles can be.

It is really the exact same argument about the Falcon and ECM. FoF missiles are there to help counter ECM and they work, yet people still don't use them.

At least missiles speed should be buffed , if the server has no problem with my heavy missile go 10kps it should have no problem my siege missile or other missiles do the same.

Also I would make cruise /citadel cruise missiles to half gun half missiles,they insta travel to 50km(whatever is prefered) near target then act like missiles , this would greatly reduce missile lag from longer ranges, also it shouldnt be that hard to be implemented.
For example: cruise raven vs target
0-50km raven fires missiles act same as now
50km+ raven fires missiles appear 50km from target+ effect between that point+raven , then acts as a missile
it would also calculate fuel so it wouldnt make missiles longer ranged than now

this would max missile lag out which is imho one of the main problem with missile sniping

oh and missile explosion velocities are too low for most missiles
target sig/missile signature should be the main factor not target speed
