Regoogle with Ius Primae Noctis Shocked I was thinking, "what in the world CCP," the first time I connected the dots, but was just continuing their theme for naming. I seriously doubt they ever would keep the name, but it's worth an attempt.

I see how WH salvage might allow the idea to work, yet when you've already the producer of wrecks, the destroyer might still be a better bet.

Despite trying to shy away from the ninja loot/salvage, it might add a an interesting twist if we add something unique - maybe just enough to make it gamebreaking, but certainly enough to make it absolutely unique.

Role bonus - allow tractor beams to be engaged on wrecks not owned by the pilot. Tractoring a not owned wreck will give you suspect flag and is limited by the safety system.

Now, ORE guys aren't exactly law abiding citizens, if i recall the lore correctly, they are a bit of opportunists, so it does make sense to give it such a bonus lore wise.

Gameplay wise, it widens its scope of usefulness to low and null unauthorized cleanup ops, while not having free reign over the stuff from highsec mission runners.

'The French expression Droit du seigneur roughly translates as "right of the lord", but native French prefer the terms droit de jambage ("right of the leg") or droit de cuissage ("right of the thigh"), in reference to the exercise of this supposed right. The term is often used synonymously with ius primae noctis (English pronunciation /ʒʌs ˈpraɪmiː ˈnɒktɨs/),[1] which is Latin for "right of the first night".'

From Wikipedia

Certainly strange but the article is of the opinion that it never actually happened and was merely an excuse for another tax. History is weird. Back on topic, I think this is a great idea, a dedicated ninja salvager would add a lot to the game.
