The not so T3 Modular Hauler

The key aspect of the T3 line of ships is the ability to customize your ship. What I was envisioning is a modular hauler designed to customize your cargo space.

The hull of the ship would look similar to the Iteron V with a bridge in front and an engine in rear, but the central hull would be a bare superstructure designed for attaching the Modular Holds. There would be 5 subsystems slots used to mount the holds.

The holds would come in the following varieties:


  • Cargo - basic hold
  • Ore
  • Minerals
  • Ammunition
  • PI
  • Corporate Hanger
  • Ship Maintenance Array


Each hold would be sized to balance the ship. Each hold would have a model that would effect the final appearance of the ship, similar to T3 cruisers. This ship could be assembled similar to an Orca or a small freighter.

The ship skill would have different effects one each hold, increasing the respective volume of each by a percentage or set volume.

YES REMOVE THE STUPIDLY LARGE AMOUNT OF INDUSTRIALS AND DO THIS.
