Living is a wh is semi-lucrative but definitely (for me at least) dull. I have played with the same core of guys (with a few exceptions) for 3 years. Am ready to get back to null so I can make some ISK, they want to stay in the WH. I need an ORGANIZED, ADULT RUN (Over 30 preferably) corp that has REASONABLE expectations for adult game participation (10-15 hours a week generally) and pref corps that look for community in the group (including group projects, such as PI, to PAY the cost of living in nullsec, rather than a rental corp in rental space looking for another renter to milk isk from.

Having lived in a WH for 2+ of my 3+ years in Eve, I have a cooperative, community based approach to the game. Love fleet pvp where my ewar skills can be used, hate 1 on 1 pvp mostly cause I suck at it (poor eyesight and at 50 I'm an 'older' player). Enjoy handling group indy projects to build the corp strength, but not overall strong for admin. Have a smattering of skills all over the place, from POS gunner to Indy, mining, fleet booster and my ship of choice, Tengu.

If a straight talking honest player is someone who would compliment your corp, please drop me a line and tell me a bit about your group. Maybe I can find a new home.

Sub Par.
#3 - 2014-02-25 00:37:28 UTC
Hawk if your timezone is a fit you may want to check out Sub Par, we are an ex-wormhole corp that moved out to null about 6 months ago. Currently we are looking for more pilots to help defend and expand our sov. Sub Par is a US TZ corp living out in Detorid were we control 7 systems, with many of those systems having full military and strategic upgrades, which makes ISKing up fairly painless. We have regular OPs and roams through out the week. Our fleet numbers range from 7-40 depending on what we are doing, in addition our FCs are experienced in many different tactics and are also very level headed. In Sub Par we take a bit of a casual approach and do not require mandatory participation, we also understand that RL comes first, so no one will ever give you a hard time if you need to log in the middle of an OP. Here is a quick bullet point of what we are looking for in our pilots and what further we can offer you.

  • Mature pilots with mature attitudes.
  • No drama. Don't need it don't want it. If you like drama this is not the corp you seek.
  • A willingness to go out and get your hands dirty from time to time. We don't expect you to be a full time PvPer, but you shouldn't be afraid to go out on roams and/or blow up other players.
  • Easy going pilots, with easy going attitudes. Pilots that can take a jab or two, but not be afraid to fire back.
  • A willingness to learn and/or assist players new to the world of EVE.
  • Full API upon Completion of a successful interview, no ifs, ands or buts about it.
  • US Timezone. Not so much a requirement but this is the timezone we are most active in.

What do you get in return for joining Sub Par? Here are some of the benefits we can offer:

  • Regular roams in both Known and Worm space.
  • Fleet commanders experienced in Low, Null, and Worm space tactics.
  • Access to mining and ratting in Angel Cartel Null space, with upgraded systems.
  • Fully upgraded outpost.
  • POS for refining and manufacturing.
  • The security of a large alliance and coalition .

So if you think Sub Par. may be a good fit for you join our public channel at Sub Par Public. (don't forget the period at the end) or contact Splendorfire, Bandray52, Kaymara, Vynok or Rosk Volutar for an interview.

Biohazard. is a dedicated pvp corporation that could be your long term home.

We roam into low sec & 0.0 about 10-15 times a day with at least 2 preplanned. Our FCs are experienced & have a reimbursment tables linked to their capabilities.

As an alliance we also participate in gallente FW. Which opens up more targets & an isk income when the tier is right.

What can we offer

2. In every timezone there are fleets with up to 30 in fleet.
3. Active memberbase
4. Leadership with over 7 years of experience

6. Target rich enviroment

You're a surefire fit for the corp I'm in. A large majority of us are just like you, and that's exactly who we want. I hope you stop by and chat with our recruiters, as I think you'll find that we're a real good option, given your stated preferences. Here's the sales pitch:

Take a look at Jolly Codgers. Info here -
https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=300037

Age 30+ membership, null-sec, sov-owning, PVP-oriented, very friendly + highly stable + coordinated alliance, best coalition, lots of action right next door, lots of resources and amenities available. We're a proud bunch with a lot to offer - more than most - but always need fresh meat. ;)

Feel free to join "Jolly Codgers" chat channel in game, or eve mail any of the recruiters.

Wow. I'm surprised at the level of interest I generated with this post. I thank the repliers here and those who've contacted me directly through in game mail. Sadly, I must have misrepresented myself in my original post to some degree - while I enjoy fleet pvp, it is NOT my main enjoyment in the game. My main thrust in the game is to make isk, as I am aiming towards large, really really expensive ships (ie titan) eventually. And I will EARN it, not buy it with my credit card. That is why, after 3-4 years in game, I am still a SUB CAP pilot. It's why I pay for this game through ISK I earn, not through a credit card. And that is why I am NOT a good fit for those corps who think that the way to pay is to buy their subscription, and buy plex whenever they need anything. I buy plex with isk I earn in game from my activities. And I am more than willing to freely share my (fairly successful) techniques with those I fly with.

Additionally, I am a college language instructor - which means that throughout my work day I can peek in on my game and do small stuff, like contracts searching, etc. I cannot hang out on teamspeak at all times I am online. It would be inappropriate, and corps that require their members to ALWAYS be on teamspeak, particularly voicecoms, when online should find another candidate. I CAN use teamspeak in non-voice (text) mode, but since the stated reason for teamspeak has seemed to be to answer immediately CTA's this is not a good idea for me. I have a life and a job, and want to keep both. However important defending your sov is, it's not as important to me as flubbing my job.

My time avail for fleet activities is generally (depending on the semester) 6-11pm Eastern USA time most evenings. I may be avail later, but unable to use comms because of my wife's work/sleep schedule (unhappy wife makes an unhappy house!)

I should mention (as it has come up in a few conversations so far) that I have 2 other toons on this account (45 and 20 mil sp). Both were started by me as alts when I was a hisec mission runner, and have been folded in to this acct for the purposes of maintaining a steady PI and datacore (ie passive) income. They also handle some of my trading and hisec logistics activity, as they're in a more or less defunct former wh corp. They may or may not come with this toon, depending on if it makes sense to me. If it is a requirement for your corp, then please let's not waste time.

While I don't necessarily mind answering tons of questions about the who what where when and why of my Eve game existence, please keep in mind that treating me like a spy/someone who wishes to do your corp dirty throughout the interview process is going to make this a waste of time as well. "Home" is not where I need to feel like a convict on parole.

So, while I am still in conversations with several folks, I have not yet reached an agreement, and hope that the above clarifications will help the right corp to find me/make their decision as to my suitability to join.

Thanks Again!
