Drones: What am I Missing?

Sorting out my new Algol, want to load drones (standard combat) and go play but Eve Market doesn't show combat drones; keep telling me no such thing as. Can lack of skill sets actually prevent the market from displaying the drones I want? I can understand not allowing the buy due to un-met requirements but I can't even get pricing. Yes, I'm a Noob but most times I can muddle through, figure out what I'm doing wrong (Lost five ships doing wrong things!) then go on and do what I want. I now have sufficient skills to buy and fly, but not to achieve Mastery. Any help will be appreciated.

It's possible you're in a system that doesn't have any for sale. Make sure "Region" is selected so it'll show all orders for that region. Also maybe you have it set to show only items you have skills to use? There is no skill that prevents you from seeing or buying an item though.

As far as simple things you could be missing - drones have names. Try typing Hobgoblin into the market search. Drones have their own tab in the market, should be easy to find.

Yes there is a setting on the market window that is "Filter by skills" or some such, which will drop drones (if you lack the skills to use them) off the viewable list. They should still be searchable, but who knows, make sure that the settings are adjusted correctly, you generally want to be able to see everything available.

Its not possible to please all the people all the time, but it sure as hell is possible to Displease all the people, most of the time.

Appreciate the response from everybody; the first thing I tried out of the box worked and that was to search for the name, as in Hobgoblin. The screen loaded with deals, I discovered I was shy one more skill, got that and now I'm good to go. Again, thanks to all.
