Does your Eve client crash when using Mumble?

Today I've spent some time looking into eve crashing when using mumble. I haven't managed to do this so far.

I know that it happens during a graphic device reset, like when the client starts or you change graphical settings but so far this hasn't helped.

What will help is you guys! Hopefully with your help, I can get someone to fix it.

What are you doing when the client crashes while using mumble?
Are you using the mumble overlay?
Are you using any other overlay like the steam overlay at the same time?
Does it happen more often with more people in mumble (and vice versa)?
What are your graphics settings?
Are you running the latest drivers?

For me EVE crashes when switching the texture quality (no other graphic settings change seems to trigger this from what I can tell).
I am using the Mumble overlay (Mumble 1.2.3), and a Teamspeak 3 overlay program TS Notifier (http://tsnotifier.cfxxl.de/ , on version 1.5.2d)
EVE merely had to be running and Mumble had to have been running while EVE was started. The TS Notifier program runs independently of TS3 so TS3 doesn't even have to be running at all. Being connected on EVE or on Mumble, TS3 running, number of people in channel etc. makes no difference.

My graphics settings are:
Fixed Window 1920 x 980, Interval One
Resource Cache Enabled, HDR disabled, Load Station Environment
AA Disabled, PP none, Shader medium, Texture high or low (switching these and closing escape menu causes the crash), LOD medium, shadows disabled, interior effects and shader quality high.

I'm running Windows 7 Professional, my graphics card is an ATI RADEON HD 4670 with the latest drivers

Switching the texture quality from high to low now in the login screen causes the "CCP EXEFILE has stopped working" window to open, with the problem details:

Killing TS Notifier while EVE is running also causes the crash IF Mumble was open at the time EVE started.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)

I have been having the same issues as the above poster with my client crashing lately. The client will stop responding and crash every time I open the ESC menu and close out of it, even if I do not change any settings. After some troubleshooting I narrowed it down to mumble. I played around with it for a bit and noticed that it only crashes if mumble is open first, before I start the EVE client. I have no overlays on, but when I start EVE my contacts will appear on the right hand side of the client for some reason. If I start the EVE client, then mumble, I have no issues with opening the ESC menu. Hope this helps.

Additional info:
-Settings at max, 1920x1080
-Windows 8 (not my fault)
-no overlays
-Radeon HD 7950, latest drivers

Has this been resolved? I am having the same exact issue. If I have mumble running at all, my eve client won't start. If I load EVE first and then start up mumble, then the EVE client will crash next time there is a graphics change (i.e. undocking/stargate). I need some help solving this issue as our fleet comms are in mumble - I don't see any responses so far on having a fix for this.

Also - I wrote mumble tech support and they said they don't work on these types of issues.

My Eve client crashes when Mumble is running with overlay and I attempt to re-size or move my Eve client window (while in window mode). I'm not using any other overlay at the same time. It has happened every time I try to move or re-size the Eve client window. My texture quality is high, and post processing through shadow quality are high. Interior effects and interior shader quality are low. Windows says my driver is up to date (Windows 8).

Has this issue been figured out yet? I have gone as far as factory resetting my pc and downloading everything fresh. Here is the catch. When i down load mumble and activate it. Is when I get random socket closing's. Double socket closings also! As of right now. I restored my pc to before i down loaded Mumble. Been in the eve client for 30 minutes now and haven't had a socket issue yet! I have had this issue before using mumble "recently started to use it" the issue of sockets randomly closing. It got worse when i started to use mumble! This isue really effects me because I'm ready to start to explore Null and Low sec, but if this issue continues and it's not do to mumble I will simply quit.

Same problem. When I have mumble on, the Eve client sometimes won't even start, though the process starts running and takes about 188 MB ram. Sometimes it will start, but when I undock, the screen just goes black and nothing happens. If I close mumble, no problems whatsoever.

I have this same issue. When I am running Mumble Overlay on my Mac, I start up EVE, and get a black screen with the overlay displayed. However my game then crashes and gives me the error message of: "Exception raised: Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x00000028 at address 0x772c4858. Do you wish to debug it?" And whether you click yes or no, it continues to have this issue. As soon as I disable the overlay I can play the game perfectly.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Running OS X Mavericks, when my Mumble overlay was enabled I could not start EVE. I would get a page fault error.

I found that if I changed the graphics setting in EVE to "enable multithreaded OpenGL" (i.e. checking the checkbox), then the Mumble overlay started working.

I get this anytime I use the Mumble overlay.

I'm experiencing the exact same issue as the previous posters have described, and my problem was also solved by turning on OpenGL, although if there could be a way to work around this as to not force me to apply a graphics option that increases the heat generated by my computer, that would be much more preferable.

I'm also on Mavericks (10.9.2) and running Mumble 1.2.5

Mumble always used to crash Eve whenever I had the overlay enabled. I turned that off years ago and it never crashed again.
