I love this game and its ability to keep dragging me back. I've been in and out of the EVE universe for many a year now, except in recent years I've lost all of my old contacts and trying to find a solid community with a Corp history as long as mine is a nightmare.
Has anyone else had trouble readjusting to the pilot seat after a hiatus? Anyone looking for a dashing ECM pilot with a panache for danger and adventure?

Sorry, anyone claiming you have a long corp history is delusional. That or EVE Gate is delusional. 8 Actual corps in 7 years.

I love this game, but I created a freighter-Pilot and i'm currently in my freighter, but i don't like being a freighter pilot, so i like the eve-meta more than the game. I think i should start a combat character

Your employment history really is nothing to worry about with a character of your age.
You might encounter some issues with people not trusting that you will actually stay around since you had a break, but most recruiters will take that chance if you have a good attitude.
Also most are understanding that people need to take breaks once in a while , and a brief look makes it seem like this is your first real break (at least first that can be traced by your employment history).

But, if you have issues finding a corp you might find this guide helpful, and except corporations that look at your sec status and thinks your a naughty naughty pirate looking to AWOX them you shouldent have much trouble Smile

You might try using the Recruitment tool in your Corporation tab... it's designed for folks like you who need to get reconnected quickly.

Or just jump into one of the Null Sec "farm teams"... Red vs Blue, Brave Noobies... take your pick.
