Seek 20b uncollateralised loan, 4% at 1 month

I am currently online and available to talk.

I returned to Eve late November with the goal of making isk. Lots of isk. Primarily I utilise contracts and have a reasonably wide number of players that sell directly to me. I started with 1 billion isk on the 20th December, grew my capital to 10b in 1 month of heavy activity, and today I sit on approximately 18 billion combined isk and assets. As a contract trader having a large amount of liquid isk available is a massive advantage, as profitable opportunities may present themselves at any time. On the 17th, with the help of a few contacts collateralising some assets, I purchased the largest series of contracts I have had thus far, costing approximately 16 billion isk which will net me approximately 2 billion profit. Since then with the majority of my isk tied up I've missed out on countless profitable ventures. Luckily one of the courier shipments arrived early and I have been able sell it off and pick up a few more profitable contracts; however not nearly as many as I'd have liked.

I'm offering a return of 20.8b after 1 month. If necessary I am willing to partition the loan into 20 segments of 1b isk, in which case the 1 month period will begin only once the full amount of 20b has been received.

Here are some fancy graphs for your viewing pleasure.

Pro tip, from one scammer to another: Jumping from 750m to 20b in one jump is too much.

You should have asked for five billion this time, made repayment in full, then gone for ten to twelve billion next time and run off with those sweet, sweet iskies.

That would be the correct move for a scammer; however I feel 5b won't be enough to allow me to expand as rapidly as I want to. I've set a personal goal of obtaining 1 trillion isk and I'd honestly rather get there through legitimate trading. Not only do I hate the idea of ruining someone's day by stealing from them, but more than that I feel that if I did scam and steal my way to a trillion isk I would only be cheating myself. Eve is only a game after all, and while reaching my goal is important to me it isn't important enough to warrant the misery of others.

Am I the only one thinking that 4% is way too low of an interest rate for an unsecured (no collateral) loan of this size?

I've never scammed through the forums (ROI on honesty is higher in the long term unless you pull off something massive, and this character is my main), but mostly I use contract sleight of hand tricks like "oh halp, I lost my ship and my storyline mission item got blown up in it, need a new one, paying 420m, Elite Drone AI [Want to Buy]" type contracts, and a few things with killrights or factor of ten contract scams.

Scamming is the easiest way to get to five billion ISK in this game, but I'm well past that point now, and my next goal is getting from ~20b to ~100b. In the absence of an opportunity to steal tens of billions at once, I feel honest trading is the way to go.

But if you deal with me - be dilligent.

"only a game"
"i want a trillion ISK, i.e. 0.15% of all ISK in circulation in a game with half a million accounts"

These two statements seem somehow contradictory.

As for 'the misery of others' - inflicting defeats on your rivals is the fun of this game. A defeat need not induce misery - I had my most expensive ship loss yet recently (still only pocket change, ~400m, ~2% of my net wealth, but it was my biggest loss so far) and I simply gave a 'gf' and was disappointed that my rival didn't get the one semi-valuable module that could have dropped for them.

I don't think it's contradictory to set yourself a very hard challenge in a game, nor did I use the word "want". I find making isk fun, even though I have no use for it. I have no expenditure. Every isk gained is used to gain another and another. Collecting for the sake of collecting. I'm not saving up for anything at a trillion, I'm just having fun in a game, exploring new markets and new isk-making potential. When I hit ~12b isk I purchased a blingy ~2b Tengu and flew it out to lowsec to celebrate. Played cat and mouse for a couple of hours with a pvper out there and basically the same thing happened - I got caught, killed, and was disappointed my most expensive modules didn't drop. Ah well. But yeah... "Inflicting defeats on your rivals is the fun of this game" is just your opinion, man! People have fun in this game in many different ways, what's fun for one person might not be fun for another. :)

There's a lot more than six hundred and sixty six point six repeating trillions out there.

In assets yes - in liquid ISK, I heard that CCP stated that the sum total of ISK in the game was around three-quarters of a quadrillion reasonably recently. This makes sense when you look at the stats that were released on ISK faucets and sinks a while back. (I'm not sure whether that 750T figure includes market escrows, which I assume there is a very, very significant amount of additional ISK in). I rounded 0.133% to 0.15% because eh, I'm lazy.

Obviously there is a lot more wealth in assets than ISK. I have something in the low twenty billions in assets, yet have never had a wallet balance exceeding four billion ISK and seldom have more than 1b in it. Even counting market escrows I almost never have more than 2b in actual ISK.
