Also, the gd wreck juggling. If the things cant figure out "dont tractor whats already been tractored" then at least go furthest to closest.

*sigh* no, I am not going to let this go, just do the final polish on the MTU, CCP! or risk me occasionally cluttering up F&I with more b!tching, moaning, and complaining about this little, simple, some would say insignificant, item. You have been warned. . .

I will be patiently waiting, CCP Fozzie, for you to announce in thread form, the finishing touches on the MTU for 1.3. Your task has been assigned, I expect this matter to be taken care of immediately, good day.

All seriousness though, please give it another look, and at least start a thread asking for feedback on the finished product. Much appreciation.

The only "fix" needed is to prevent multiple MTUs from tractoring a single wreck, just like a normal ship module.

They are usable as is, no questioning that. I dont think what Im asking will make them OP by any means. It will simply make them a better, more user friendly tool, rather then the awkward option that they are now.
Why is this so important to me one might ask, well because every time i use one, rather then dropping and scooping every room, wouldnt it be nice to drop and leave it, then have an alt follow behind cleaning up the rooms without all the clicky.
And
When my main cleans rooms with MJD and tachs, the wrecks are all over, so being able to deploy two or more at once and have them work efficiently (unlike the thieving retards, chanting "gimmi gimmi" they are now) to speed up the wreck gathering would be sublime.

the ability for corp / fleet mates to pick it up or selectable option when deploying for self / corp would make them perfect.

Launch for Corp would be nice. You would have to give it the same "anchor mechanics" as mobile disruptor bubbles.

Launch for fleet I don't think will ever happen, although perhaps if they redo fleet mechanics this might become possible.

its fine as is. if it was made better, it would replace noctis'. do not change it.

I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be able to be picked up by corp mates. It can loot their wrecks. Why not let them retrieve it.

Noctis- tractor and salvage multiple, selected wrecks, at the same time. Tractors much faster. Can do this while heading to acceleration gate.

MTU- slowly tractors one wreck at a time, with 10sec wait between. Does not salvage. Takes up room in cargo reducing the amount of loot you can carry. Cant select which wreck to loot, so no cherry picking. Stationary.

Making it deploy for corp, to me, doesnt seem like it would replace the noctis. Neither would making them not tractor from each other. Again, my opinion. Would love to here what CCP Fozzie thinks. . .hint hint.

Im still keeping my fingers crossed though, hopeing to get a response on here from a dev, but any info would be nice. I know back soon after the launch of rubicon, the problem of wreck juggling was brought up, the only answer then was something along the lines of "not going to promise anything, but were looking into it". Then all quiet after that.

further more, about the noctis vs mtu, I use the mtu WITH my noctis, it is a tool that can be use with many ships, noctis including.

Same here. I ended up dropping the MTU during anoms and them coming back with a noctis (since i already have one and dont want to waste it) fully fit with only salvagers and then having a clicking seizure with my mouse as i attempt to keep up with the wrecks.
