The contracting pains.....

Making contracting a bit easier:

One thing that, for some of us at least, is a pain is the contracting mechanism.
If you make once and a while a contract there is no need to read on.. :) At this point I know loads of people complaining that all dev time should go to new shiny ships, but the contracting is part of Eve and i assure you all in terms of contracts and the way they are handled “Eve is NOT real” :p
at the moment.

For sure if you are a hauler or even worse a trader then the clicking and typing is quite annoying.

There are loads of things that can be changed and i only put a few here.

Problem: you have 30k ice and you want it to be hauled by a hauling company.
The company can only accept 860k m3 per contract. So you need to cut the 30k into 35!! stacks And then make contracts for every stack so 35 contracts with 35 times the hauling company and 35… well you get the drift.

Solution: When i have selected items I want to be able to make 1 contract stating:
max items/m3 per contract/ dest/ coll per contract/ reward per contract.
System calculates how much contracts we are talking bout and what the total costs are. You click yes and ready you are.

Problem: you have 35 stations with say again nice and yo want it transported by one company :) and yet again you do 35..etc.
Solutions: give the possibility to make a kind of masks. I choose between making contract adn contract with mask. When i choose for mask i get the choice for the mask i created. In there is the hauling corp, an amount set per contract, one per jump so it calculates the total for you, the standard coll, maybe even standard target dest. All is changeble, but there is allready set a bunch you dont need to type always. Basically the same goes for normal contracts.

Problem: You have, nah not again 35 :), a bunch of contracts on your name. You need to click each of them, then click on accept and then if you are sure. If you want to deliver several contracts you need to go to your assets and click on all of them to find contracts etc. When you happen to be in the right station you can select multiple contracts and deliver them in one batch.

Accepting and delivering contracts should be just one click...when people say that it can be abused, and yes it can, give then the opportunity to add a safe list. If the other party is on he list it becomes a one click event.

I handle 100’s of contracts and its no fun :) and i am sure if people look into it 80-90% of the clicks can be avoided….

wall of text

actually, if you read the forum, ppl want improvement in pos / sov mechanics / various game mechanics (including contracts) / issues solving.

what CCP delivers tho, is broken overpriced ships no one ask for, broken deployable everyone wants removed, and feature removal / murdering no one wnats to see... and random bugs that shows CCP QA is a myth.
