Ms. Goldcore, we are in need of your assistance if you would be so kind.

First, I need to know some particulars of Amarrian law. A holder sells his slaves to a non-Amarrian slave trader and that trader jettisons the slaves into space fearing the sanctions in Caldari space. What is the legal status of those slaves according to Amarrian law? Can they come under the holdership of another Amarrian? Is that a difficult process?

Second, Tobias is the name of one of the young adult male slaves that we rescued. His holder was a man by the name of Aritcio. While under his holdership a religious advisor to Aritcio introduced Tobias to the Amarrian faith and the idea of spiritual enlightenment. Aritcio himself was a wicked and unprincipled man. Before his death, Aritcio sold 38 of his household slaves to a Vherokior slave trader under the alias of “Data File.” This wicked man jettisoned these 38 slaves at the border between Amarrian and Caldari space. Apparently he didn’t think there was sufficient profit in his venture to justify the risk, so he left these souls to their death. We rescued these slaves and they are at one of our centers. Tobias has held fast to the faith that he learned while in the household of Aritcio.

He has clearly spoken his desire to me in these words, “I wish to be placed under the care of a benevolent Amarrian holder who will continue to guide my enlightenment.” “This is the life I want.” He has asked me to help him find such a holder. At the beginning of this project I committed to honor the desires of those we rescue including those who wish to remain as slaves.

Ms. Goldcore, I believe that you are the logical choice. You have articulated a love and concern for those under your holdership. Tobias wants to serve under a benevolent holder who will be focused on his enlightenment in the Amarrian faith. If it is within the laws of your people, are you willing to take Tobias under your holdership?

Tobias and I will make our way to Hayumtom and will look for you at the Inherent implants station. From there, Tobias may take place in your household. He is one of the brave men who stayed behind and waited while others were rescued first. He impresses me as a man of honor.

I have a request. This is not distrust toward you so I hope that I am not misunderstood for asking. May I, from time to time, ask of Tobias and his well being and progression in your household? He has won a place in my heart and I wish to "keep up with him" so to speak. I hope that is OK.

We will make our way to the Hayumtom station tomorrow unless you say otherwise.
