Flesh out the Equilibrium of Mankind

At the present time, the notorious, and notoriously profitable (For us capsuleers) death-cult, The Equilibrium of Mankind, as seen in Gone Berserk, and A Case of Kidnapping missions, are not fleshed out.

That is to say, they spawn in no belts, they have no complexes associated with them, no agents, no faction gear, or ship. In a previous post, a developer stated CCP was investigating options for a missile bonuses pirate BS. As a Khanid fan, I was keen to see something black and blue as our pirate missile BS, which put me to this Idea: Turn the EoM into a fully fledged pirate faction.

By this, I mean, create EoM agents, a LP store - including EoM faction Ships, and belt rat spawns, with a full set of elite, commander, and officer NPCs.

Personally, I suggest, given the EoM lore, to have then appear anywhere in New Eden, having a certain chance to appear as a belt spawn/deadspace complex, instead of the normal pirate faction of that specific region... Perhaps a higher chance - Key point being it would be easier to implement, as CCP wouldn't have to reshuffle the pirate distribution. Not sure about stations/agents - Perhaps put them anywhere, like the spawns.

Of course, they would have their line of faction ships, with bonuses to missiles. I would like to emphases the EoM Armageddon for the EoM faction BS, as it looks the most Khanid (Not Biased at all.... Ok, Biased)...

I fully support this idea.

Obviously, the EoM should have terrible standings with pretty much every other faction (after all, they're a death cult who kills anyone they come across, whether it's Empire or pirates). Regarding stations and agents, I would suggest creating one or two solar systems where the EoM have sov and put them there.

The only small problem with your suggestion: EoM use railguns, not missiles. That can be easily retconned though (remember when Sansha were armor tanks? Lol)

Also, EoM Apoc > EoM Armageddon.

Too much work, especially in regards to making them an actual faction and giving them stations. They're probably the group i have the least interest in, although the black/blue ships look nifty.

they are sexy, and that could be my favourite mission.

but yeah, lets hope this isnt made a priority

They shouldn't/couldn't be a missile using faction, I want that to be Mordus Legion- Missiles+Shield Cool

But they use Hybrids and missiles- they could be Amarr/Gallente (SoE is Gallente/Amarr (Angels are Min/Gal and Serp is Gal/Min already)). They could be powerfully shield-tanking with huge bonuses to hybrid range+damage, compensating for being massive Big smile

Hmm... A selection of EoM ships, specifically the Armageddon Hulled ones use missile exclusively - We could stand an argument that the prefer both missiles and hybrids equally.

Mordu's Legion dosen't come in black. That was one of my key points, even if you disagree, which you have a right too; However I also have a destroy any ratting BS you fly.

Would it be that much work though? Adding solar systems, stations and agents has been done before (Black Rise); the ship models all exist already. Unless the faction system runs on old pre-2003 black magic code (which is admittedly possible), adding a faction, too, should not be that big a deal.
Honestly, the most labour-intensive part of this would be designing EoM missions (although they could just give out the generic "Kill the opposing empire's fleet"-missions we get from empire corps, with adjusted mission text), and balancing the EoM ships for player use.
