In search of elusive ´goodfites´ Raiden. alliance has been deployed to Delve for last two weeks. The start of the new campaign turned to be a blood bath, and many ships were lost, kills were had and few epic slugging fests were endured. In just a week we had more action than on the previous AAA campaign put together.

During that week many of us rediscovered our love for the game. Big thanks to those who have chosen to fight us, it has been a welcome change, Evoke, Ewoks, CFC, MM, Brick and Nulli Secunda to name a few. Big thanks to our brothers in arms in PL as well.

In short, here is the view of Delve Thunderdome from the sights of the junior grunt.

You broke the "no supercaps" rule of the delve thunderdome, you are no longer welcome.

Your battle report and Video to match of the 55 Raiden ships station camping single targets was by far the most exhilarating video to watch……

First video... fleet camping an npc station undock... kills a Mach. The text says "this show how boring fighting AAA is," but you are shooting at an Atlas guy in Delve.

This confused me. Care to explain?

Here's a screenshot http://i.imgur.com/bQ5pq.jpg

Videos were okay overall. Probably the kind of fights people who were there would enjoy seeing again, but nothing special for the community at large.

Your screenshot holds the answer to that, "has been" is the exact term used. Meaning we must have been previously pretty fecking bored fighting AAA if we have so much fun ganking one poor sod who fails with his Machariel. And yes the station camping isn't exactly our finest moment, it is included as comical starting point for the campaign.

Yes videos are not probably very interesting to general population, maybe for some operating in Delve currently, especially those people we have fought against.

Test and FA seem to be having fun shooting each other.

Maybe the DRF should take a page from CF Coalition and un-blue for a while? Seems like no one else really wants to fight the DRF supers until Winter expansion anyway.

So i have a question about your fleet doctrine, why does half you baddons use HPL and the other half 1400MMs ? this seems incredibly stupid and it shows in the fight against evoke where you lost the three carriers.

Because they dont have T2 Mega Pulses?

EVE online is the fishermans friend of MMO's. If it's too hard you are too weak.

Its true there are some people using 1400mm instead of Pulses. And for the reason, i cant say 100%.
It might be that people cant use them, it might be something else.

But as for loosing those carriers... That was retardness from the carriers point... Thats all i can say on that matter.
Wrong fits, wrong mind...

We did however also lose another set of carriers, but that was unavoidable. When you fight Goons with there welp fleet.
And as long as you are in triage, its impossible to tank them. You will die nomatter what. You can however be lucky to tank them enough to get out of triage and then be saved. I was the last carrier to go down in that fight. And as i was the last, i went into triage again, simplyt to keep myself alive for longer.

The Battle of L-6

Quote:
This battle harkens back to the good ‘ole days of Eve. Bob vs Everyone. Kenny vs Everyone. IT vs Everyone. Follwing the trend, this was Raiden vs Everyone. As was the case in the past, Raiden fielded a bunch of expensive ships and everyone else flew cheaper ships and hoped their sheer numbers would win the day.

Disclaimer:
I spent big portions of the fight reshipping and fitting those new ships, so my material is not awesome. Bigger yet, that was my first time flying triage carrier, or actually any cap in combat, I wasn´t really prepared for it and you will have to forgive me all the stupid **** you see me doing. But the things looked so bad for us at one point, I decided that I would at least act as buffer between the enemy and our REALLY expensive ships. I realize that after Clarion Call 3 was released, it is pointless to release any other videos, but I had this ready made, so here goes :)

I dont know about political spin or anything but it looked like you threw what you had at the fight and it was nicely edited together so thanks for frapsing. I thought large fleet ops had been largely addressed so I dread to think what it used to be like. Last time I was in a fight like that was 2007/08, heh.

Just watched the latest episode and enjoyed it. The music went well and watching this directly after Gaspar Noe's 'Enter The Void' lent the anchored bubble flash a nice hypnotic feel Shocked

I shall watch them all through in the coming days. Keep up the good work.
