New Region (With a twist)

What you need is A new region, nothing massive. Have that connected to wormhole space. So you can bring in capitals etc. But you are limited to the wormhole mass.

Then alliances or corps can move into the new region and do what they normally do.

The difference is you will never be sure where you will be able to get out of the new system and are never sure where your going to breach into new eden. One day it could be hi-sec route through a c2 wormhole, and another day it will be through an occupied C6 wormhole into the middle of the drone regions.

Alliances in the new region wont be able to camp gates, and will have to be very self sufficient. Plus the added bonus of attacking forces once finding a entry to the new region could breach the new region anywhere.

Another twist on the idea could be the same as above but the systems of the new region will be occupied. Like incursions. So you will need to clean out the systems of the region before you can use them. So first of they will be cyno-jammed etc and you will need to clear a space for you forces to mass in the region.

Lets fill up new Eden first.
There Are so many empty systems.

Rather buff some constelations instead.

I agree on the filling up of eve systems. But a lot of new Eden is very stale in terms of long standing players. You want some space you roll in with your force and use the stations that are their. You kill off some people who are already their and then you drop posses, You set up your intel channels and spot people coming in through your main region entrances.

This idea kinda gets rid of most of that. Their are no main region entrances, as the entrances can be anywhere. You can only use limited resources at the beginning. You carnt just roll up with 1000 ships and lock yourself in a system and grow from their.

Hell how about not even having the region on the map. Not as we know it. Have the region covered in a nebula image, so you carn't see what the system make-up will be. You have to chart the area yourself and work with it like that.

Sounds a bit like my proposal to add a "connectable" wormhole systems.
Ie most wormhole systems would be too "far apart" to connect with jump bridges, but we could add wormhole systems that are within the distance that can be connected by just bridges, and Sov would be claimable in these systems.
Whs from these "connectable" WH systems would never open to empire space, only other WH space

Correct.
Sounds quite a lot like it. Good idea :-)
