Question about billing

I don't want to pay a recurring bill. However I heard that you can cancel a subscription and keep playing until your membership expires. When I cancel the subscription, is there ANY extra fees that go straight to my bank account, or will I simply be able to cancel, have a limited membership, and absolutely nothing more? Thanks

It just cancels.
Any remaining paid gametime keeps the cancelled account up until it runs out.
Then its just inactive until you reopen a subscription

Ok, but is there any extra fees added (as a penalty) for cancelling the subscription?

No penalty, the account just goes Off until you resume a sub, thats it, no surpises, no sudden charges, nothing.
