Automatically jumping a gate when you warp to it???

Yes. The dock command now works for gates the same way it has done for stations for ages.

I wish you could do this as a fleet command.

I'd imagine it would cut down on the people who try to get as many jump spams in before "Jumping" shows up on the UI.

I've gotten pretty pro at it and with low lag I can get almost 20.

One time I was just shy 300 clicks.

Because a gate camp ALWAYS trys to get you on the side you are coming from when you warp to 0... (as opposed to when you decloak on the other side) - amirite???

yeah Titania, you're totally off base here. Landing on zero just causes button mashing, this way will actually hurt you running camps, as you skip a chance for agression.

I'm pretty sure this is going to make my life a little easier as I'll have to force people to jump by aggressing them at 0 on a gate less often as they will jump right into me.

In the real world (0.0) who doesn't warp to a perch first anyway..? I'm guessing this will effect Hiseccers and people who live in massive blue land.

It will mostly be a benefit for freighter / orca pilots - who have issues with gate bouncing if they're not paying strict attention at the end of a 100 AU warp.

But in lo-sec / null-sec? Not as useful unless you already know that the gate is green.

Warping to zero has never been a problem (in low and highsec). Why has it been a problem for you? The fun is usually on the other side of the gate.

Somehow I felt it would help my stress levels. Then I realized I'm going to worry about it glitching so will probably still button mash. I feel pretty horrible now.

Hisec travel is basic gate to gate stuff, so this will halve the number of clicks required to get across empire space. And now that autopilot docks you in your destination station instead of just leaving you floating in the relevant system, it'll be a bit more tempting to use aswell.
