Buying Game TIme/Plex from Third Parties?

Hi guys,

Not sure if this is really a newbie question, but unsure of where to post it.

I noticed on Amazon.co.uk that you can buy game time and PLEX from a seller called CCP games.

I only really have two questions, is this legitimate, and how does the item(s) get associated with your game account after the purchase?

Thanks in advance if anyone knows

Here's the official list.

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

I use Amazon to buy game time from, it is legitimate as they even have it as a payment option on the CCP EVE Account management page.

I'm going to post my question in here, I hope you don't mind me stealing your thread a little bit.

I see that you can sell time codes for ISK. How does that work? You buy a code from a reseller (is it a serial key thing?) and then what?

Hanz: It looks like you just follow this link:

https://secure.eveonline.com/ETC/

And if you click on Log in at the very top and log in you will get a very brief form where you can sell your ETC to a player.

I think that's a great move when you first start the game. It makes the startup easier knowing you have some isk in the bank to buy skill books or fittings.

If you buy a Plex to sell: Go to a major hub where you want to sell it first. Log off. When you log back in - redeem the plex and then put it up for sell in the hub market. DO NOT TRAVEL WITH PLEX IN YOUR SHIP. Or you'll likely lose your ship and plex.

That. Also, if i remember correctly, you can activate a plex from your assets window.

I think it is too much isk too fast. The tutorials will get you a few free ships that should last you a decent while. Although paying for the first month and a plex is pretty comparable to buying most other games in terms of cost.
