Long Term Skill plan?

Hello,
I am a returner to EVE (3mil SP + 2m unallocated SP). It's very very long ago and I didn't play much then. Btw: I linked to my character the second post.

First of all: Are there any existing predefined skill plans, that I don't know of?

At the moment I am flying a Vexor. I contemplate flying a Dominix for L4 Missions as my long-term goal.

Summary: How can I set up a nice ~1 year plan with EVEMon?!
Details: Perhaps being capable of flying a Domi in 3 months well,
and of course mastering in it the next 9 months.

I found 2 loadouts whose description fits my goals to run L4 missions (btw. priority 2 in the EVEMon attachment):
http://eve.battleclinic.com/loadout/66616-Cheap-L4-Sentry-Blitz-Dominix.html#comment#976525
lower voted:
http://eve.battleclinic.com/loadout/68745-Dominix-LVL-4-Mission-Boat-Cheap-Effective.html

My first thought was copying all skills required for Mastery 4 in the ingame ISIS to my EVEMon Skillplan "Mastery IV Dominix".

However this has a few problems
-I am aware that the mastery system isn't perfect, so which skills are missing or overtrained in the build?
-Generally this is improvised without much knowledge, because I haven't got any help so far, but it's backed up by the mastery IV and loadouts:

That's why I added the loadouts intomy skillplan.

One of the remaining problems is that these loadouts only put the REQUIRED skills into my list.
I added the requirements to the Mastery IV skillbuild, and increased
-gallente battleships from 1 to 4

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Thanks, I appreciate any help.

pls: Note this is just my first try and by no means I say it's good, I just didn't get help so far, so I just did what I could.

I suggest you download EFT or some other external fitting tool like Pyfa. You can create a Dominix fit in EFT and then right click the window and access the "change affecting skill" menu. This will show you all the of the skills which will affect the ship with the fitting you have. EFT allows you to import your character's skills to see the stats of your fitting and then you can adjust the affecting skills to see how much benefit training them will provide.

Edit: Apologies for interrupting your posts. I'm not good at following instructions.

But I already put alot of work into what I described in the topic - and want to get "something out of it" first :)

I'll definetly bookmark your answer!

Is the Sentry Damage Augmentor rig stacking-nerfed with the Drone Damage Amplifier?

I use 4 x DDA II, saving the rigs for CPU and capacitor rigs. For capacitor I used Semiconductor Memory Cell and Capacitor Control Circuit to get the most benefit from two rigs, avoiding stacking nerfs by boosting two stats that achieve the same result.

My opinion is that having four tractor beams on a ship which is going to be sniping from MJD range is a waste of time. The time you waste salvaging in that Dominix could be better spent finishing missions faster and contracting out the salvage operation. You might be able to squeeze a couple of rail guns into the high slots, even if you only boost your DPS by 100 it still means you get through missions faster.

Then just remember to wait a minute or two before activating the acceleration gate to the next room so that your MJD has time to cool down.

Yes, the sentry rigs are stacking penalized with DDAs, making the rigs basically worthless. Warp speed rigs will help a battleship more in missions, as will the rig (cannot remember the name) that boosts your local repairs. Or you can fit guns and rig for those.

I would not consider salvaging at all now. There is simply no reason to salvage unless you are a brand new player, as changes to the game in Odyssey made salvage loot very, very, very cheap in comparison to its old prices. Even if you set a Mobile Tractor Unit to loot for you, it is not even worth salvaging the wrecks when they are already bunched up.

I support the New Order and CODE. alliance. www.minerbumping.com

I added my skillplan to the second placeholder which you can also see in an attachment for EVEMon lnked in the first placeholder, with EVEMon ofc much better visuably.

I'd apperciate any recommendation on a long term skillplan.

My main goal is to get going, with the best remapp for one year or half a year maybe.

I wouldn't say that is the case at all. Running a Noctis through an L4 can pay off way more than the mission reward, LP, and bounties put together. Especially if you loot and salvage at the same time.

Eve will make you work a solid month all on your own for your first cookie. Then kick you in the nuts and take that cookie, and laugh at you for thinking you could have a cookie at all.

TBH, I wouldn't bother too much with a skill plan or specific remaps. First of all no plan ever survives first contact and secondly it forces you to stick to stuf and a play style you might, at some point during the plan, want to change. Also, plans that long generally just are depressing.

Unless you're an alt who can idle while you play other characters (like this one) I wouldn't bother at all and just get a generic decent remap and train up the stuff you want to be doing, when you want to be doing them.

So that means that I could add a Noctis Loadout to my long term skillplan aswell? I looked at them, quite nice salvagers!
