I have been in at least one of the others. Also Tollen you might want to remove the link he is trying to spread around on the forums. All you do is make his job easier for what ever videogame company he is working for. I just delete the link and replace it with text that more closely describe where the link will take you.

Might we see the slowly beginning of EVE dying? All due to EVE's lack of new mindblowing changes which gives all a new drive to keep playing this....

No wonder so many "big" players are moving to Star Citizent. And i dont blame them, its new, its different and it looks good.

So i think ill also move on to Star Citizent

One must really applaud Rusty Kants on this particular post. It isn't really on topic anymore and at least 3-4 times there is a link that will take you to the site of a game that is no where near being ready for anything like a massive playerbase. I had begun to think with all the other locks happening that this one would have been locked by now as it is nothing more than a Stealth Post for a lack lust game, but alas ISD Lack-of-Faith may have missed this one.

Please use translate or something, cuz ure words kinda confused me... no offence intended

Don't do this. I learned long ago that when you think someone needs help translating from their native tongue or ask "Your English isn't bad...what is your native language?"...it turns out their native language is English.

Much like you never ask a woman when her baby is due because there is a good chance she isn't pregnant.

So i should pretend i did understand and scribble down something i think somewhat adequate answer?

No...translate it...like I did here:

It amuses me highly that ure so certain im a "employe" of the mentioned game, which makes some here abit itchy and scratchy. For my own amusement, im not gonna deny or confirm my employment of mentioned game. If i do, i fear ure obsession with me, can rise to a higher emotional level which leads to pillowtalks and winespritzers.

I would like to take lessons from you in the ways of speaking more to his level, as the OP of this thread is speaking in terms that make Billy seem much more....interesting.

If I was still playing when it finally becomes possible to enter Jovian space (the coolest race in EVE with the best backstory that CCP never let us touch, typical) I think I would listen to this song as I clicked my submarine into Directorate space for the first time.

Don't get used to it, though. Blink

The biggest problem I have with Jove space as playable is that they're known to be ulitimately bad-ass, so to compete with the Jove Rats, you' have to have ships so OP that they could rat anywhere with impunity, turning them into Harvester Combines in Space. No fun, that.

Im suspecting EVE never will let us in, other than thru tournaments, but if they do, they will prolly nerf it first. :D

They'd have to... Or buff the hell out of everywhere else, or tilt the playing field irreparably.

Completely agree with you on the power of the Jove Race when compared to all else (Players included). What's after Jove Space? Polaris? I would be much much more interested in going into Polaris systems than any Jove system.

The Jove are one of many things that for whatever reason CCP continually denies us, and not surprisingly it's one of the things that might have actually made this internet submarine game all the more fun and interesting.

I guess it can't be helped that each EVE race is a walking cliche, but at least the Jove are a cool one, which is probably why they kept them while giving us the space Vatican, french Star Trek, space Maori, and the Weyland-Utani race.

The Jovians are all but dead and their space should technically be full of ruins with lots of exotic technology (new exciting items that are not deployables that came out of nowhere) that when EVE submarine captains finally reach should be able to reverse engineer and create T3 items that while very powerful won't be as powerful as the actual Jove technology because we're not super advanced EVE Greys like they are.

You don't get it, do you?
If Jove space is reachable, then the players' ships must be buffed to match the Jove, which makes them game-breakingly OP everywhere else.

Which leaves only a few choices:

1) Unbalance the game, and make the game unplayably imbalanced, or;
2) Buff all of space, making the Jove no more interesting than Shansha or Gurristas, or;
3) Nerf the hell out of the Jove (See #2, aqbove), or;
4) Nerf the hell out of all other space bounties, so that players won't use their Jove-bustin' ratting ships to farm Nul like a fleet of power combine harvesters run amuk, thus breaking all of knowns space (and probably breaking W-Space as well), thus pissing *everyone* off.

Edit, to add a thought:

5) Or, if you posit that the Jove are essentially a non-factor, you turn Jove Space into a massive Loot Pinata, thus breaking the game in yet another new-but-predictable way.

/Edit

IOW, suck it up; what you want is bad for the game, and you aren't going to get it.

Be that as it may, the Jovians still successfully defended their boarders from a much larger Amarrian effort to Reclaim them. Also as they are the CREATORS of the pods we use, I see them being able to do truly terrible things to those inside them. Just imagine your pod being hacked and than jolting the ever loving heck out of you (note to CCP this could create a debuff that inflicts 5% TiDi on your ship alone [note I have no idea how TiDi completely works in full]).

Or just wipe you and send you back to your next clone... Minus all SP. what the Jove make, the Jove can break...

I think it's you that doesn't seem to understand the Jove and their technology can be released into the wild without creating imbalances by releasing it as weaker "reverse engineered" technology. Think of it along the lines of T3 cruisers and Sleeper tech, it's not like people kill Sleepers and strap their weapons directly to their submarine hulls, instead the technology is taken, reverse engineered, and a new weaker technology results. Jove tech could be treated the same way, and in the process CCP could also release a new fifth race, a true capsuleer race, not bound to any factional empire, that is a cloned hybrid of typical New Eden humanoid combined with elements of the Jove genome, in effect giving us a "Jove race" without actually stepping on or rewriting Jove lore, which would even work alongside CCP's current vision of moving capsuleers away from primary faction allegiances and becoming their own faction equal to superior in power.

But I've said enough, EVE is a boring game with wasted potential, CCP's choices consistently annoy me, and if they want my ideas on how to make EVE suck less they can pay me for it.

If you really think are so much better than CCP, than apply for and take Hilmar's job. Than not only will they be paying you, you can make all the fail changes you are asking for and drive us [the ones actually enjoying the game] away.
