Hi guys,

I'm an old player that's just resurfaced and I've got a newbie question. I'm trying to do a little manufacturing, my mass production skill is only at 3 but that should allow me 3 jobs right? when I try and put on my 3rd job it says I cant and that I can only handle 5 factory jobs at once, but I'm currently only running 2 :/. What's happening?!

To confirm, I have 2 1000 run processes running, 0 planets as I've just decommissioned them, 0 jobs ready to be delivered. But it wont let me start a 3rd job.

Mass production 3 allows for 4 concurrent jobs . Check for old corp jobs you may have started and not delivered, check for personal jobs. Make sure the range is set to "Current universe" on the Jobs screen

Double check that the range is set to universe(everywhere) and that you don't have corp jobs that belong to you active.

IIRC shouldn't Mass Production 3 equal 4 concurrent jobs, 1 base + 1 per level.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the replies, there were at the time 2 jobs active, and nothing else in the universe. and mass production was actually at level 4.

Did you check corp as well as personal jobs? Both universe-wide?

Mass production 4 allows 5 concurrent jobs, if you can't start more than 2, it implies there are already 3 jobs running (or completed) somewhere

The limit is not just active jobs but any manufacturing jobs at all (Pending, Active, or Complete). If you checked both your personal and corp jobs and only 2 showed up in any state, then you need to petition this. If however, you've got 5 jobs listed in any state whatsoever, then it's working as intended.

Thanks for the help guys, I think I'll petition it if I can't find a fix later, I'm 99% sure that I've checked everything.
