Since the Update Ominidirectional Tramking links don't work correctly.

So for the first day after Rubicon 1.1 Omnidirectional Tracking Links II simply didn't work. Now they may or may not work but there does not seem to be a way to check. Short of going out into space and shooting something and seeing if your range is longer.

You used to be able to click on "get Info" in space on your carried drones and the info sheet would display the Modified data, modified by your skill and mods. This no longer appears to be the case.

Is this going to be fixed or is there a workaround.

How does one now confirm that Omnidirectional Tracking Links are working and get the modified range data???

you'll need to use a fitting tool or just do the math now. they are working though.

Nooo.....CCP needs to fix it, not have 3d party stuff cover up another mod that just doesnt work correctly.

I agree, the omnis seem broken on sentry carrier load outs with dual omnidirecton tracking link modules.. massive fall out in performance and range, regardless of scripts in, scripts out, or one of each.

I was hoping this would actually turn into a buff, double down on tracking, warp in closer, and not have a problem with frigates until they were right on top and orbiting me. But, meh, with tracking scripts in on 2 omnidirectional tracking scripts gardes are hard pressed to kill frigates at 19km and closing, while i now cant hit anything beyond 45 km.

I like to have my cake and eat it too

Whats wrong with this? That's how its been since forever.

"**CCP is changing policy, and has asked that we discontinue the bonus credit program after November 7th. So until then, enjoy a super-bonus of 1B Blink Credit for each 60-day GTC you buy!"**

Never forget.

It's even more wrong because it's been forever.

I for one admit to having become somewhat complacent about in-game drone stats because previous to 1.1 I had a standard fit for my Domi.

But the ODL issue - namely scripting - has brought it back to the fore. With triple ODL's I have seven possible script combinations on my Domi. I know what my paper dps is, but Eve won't tell how far or how effectively it's being applied. So in order to know how my primary weapons platform is performing, I have to run a TP app whose designers have actually *bothered* to provide what CCP haven't.

Which is a ridiculous situation, no?

What he means it that people who suddenly have this burst of outrage about how it got "messed up" are completely mistaken, it's always been like that and has NOTHING to do with the recent OmniD changes.

Nope it wasn´t, before the "Fix" you could undock and click your drones in your bay and it would tell you the correct amount of optimal falloff tracking etc. all modifier included. So it has NOT been like this since forever but rather a recent problem.

If you had any clue you would have known that! What did not work was to launch drones and then check their attributes in space!

Yes you could. This was added a while back but not sure exactly when.

I used to get updated drone info on range and tracking for omnis when in space by right click info... This is gone since now it just gives default stats no matter which modules are on. Why?

Because it's a new "feature" of the 1.1 patch.

Maybe they didn't want everyone complaining that their drone range was cut so badly so they removed this till the rage dies down. The problem is you can still see it in EFT
